The thing I have always thought was bizarrely ironic was that the lefty Dems pushed all these "workplace harrassment" laws, but because they are essentially amoral and power is everything to them, they have probably probably been the biggest violaters of all...and they have rarely if ever been called to account for it.

I don’t think Teddy was known for his generosity. I doubt that he gave them anything at all, but it was probably pretty clear that if you were a young female staffer and wanted to get a good recommendation, move on up in the bureaucratic world, etc., the “casting couch” was the way you did it.
If you do the math Teddy only averaged 15.6 women a year from age 15. He probably slowed down the last couple of years, but I’ll bet he couldn’t hold a candle to his brothers and relatives. When his nephew (Smith) got accused of rape, Teddy was right there defending him and giving him tips. When his cousin (Skaekel) got accused of killing a girl with a golf club he didn’t show up too much though.
Well Jesse Jackson found ways to pay his hush money child support illegally using money from his organization.
