Good article ... I've always liked Dan Aykroyd. I didn't know his family were all into paranormal stuff. It explains a lot.

By sheerest coincidence, we happen to have gotten Ghostbusters just the other day. It's still funny.

Aykroyd had a great Dole. I liked Norm McDonald’s, too. But Norm’s always had a little bit of anti-humor in him; his was sort of a non-impression impression. Not to the extent that Chevy Chase and Will Ferrell didn’t bother to copy Ford and Bush’s manerisms, respectively. But certainly, Aykroyd’s impression was by far more accurate and human than Norm’s.

Thanks Nikas. There’s some comments by Ackroyd regarding the paranormal in the “extras” section of the Ghostbusters DVD (the original one, not sure if later editions came out; the sequel sucked, maybe there’s more on that disk).
