For someone who might have missed some classics or have just decided to stop being a DUmmie... what free ebooks would you recommend?
From any source, could be from Mises "library" or from Gutenberg.
Links if you got them!
How do you read your ebooks? Are you using a devise or downloading to your computer?
I have a collection of 30+ Charles Dickens books (whole works) that I got off of Amazon for free. Also, Some new books are also free if they are part of a series. Good idea considering that if it is a good read, most people will get hooked and pay $9.95 for each book in the series.
Some sites give you a choice of PDF and HTML. I can do either of those, of course.
What do Kindle downloads look like in an ordinary web browser?
ping to read at home
Colonial Williamsburg.Loading the page for that text shows that it's indexed on two subjects: "TECHNOLOGY" and "Building (construction) trade. Building materials. Building practice and procedure".
Do you use this with an iTouch/iPhone? If so, how does it read?
thanks a lot!
74 MB PDF file. wow.
glad I have fast internet!
You can only download Kindle books to a Kindle. It has it's own wireless called "whispernet". It automatically downloads with out connecting it to my computer.
