Holy cow!! What a bomb!!! (new Leno)
Posted on 09/14/2009 10:45:50 PM PDT by djf
Anybody else watch this? Hey, if so I forgive you for refusing to admit it!
Forty minutes in to it, and I haven't even chuckled once! The Obama interview skit was a joke, and not even a real one!
Seinfeld is about as washed up as five year old socks... Now, Kanye that yayhoo is trying to make everybody feel sorry for himself...
And I'm missing sterling entertainment like Coast to Coast for this crap???

Jay is perhaps the only one left in NBC who isnt a shameless raving lunatic liberal. Leno lost me many, many moons ago when he had Rush on, treated Rush like crap.

Leno will figure it out. Not a huge fan of his previous show but it had ratings for a reason. After watching Leno’s web episodes from his garage, I have more respect for him and would like to see him do a car show on one of the cable networks.

Considering the hype from NBC, before and after the Lame Leno show, I was ready for the Second Coming.
Another false alarm, two in the same year no less!
“Say goodnight Gracie.”
“Goodnight NBC.”

It could hardly have been worse.
TV writers' revenge for five nights of one-hour programming lost.

I didn’t see it but have it on DVR just in case it turned out to be the greatest feat of comedic genius the world has ever witnessed.
But can somebody tell me this, with both Seinfeld and Kanye booked, why didn’t they do a parody of the MTV Awards, with dumbass Kanye bursting onto the stage and interupting Jay, pointing to Jerry tucked in the audience as THE GREATEST COMEDIAN EVER!! Woulda made the news cycle and You Tube all week , but I guess he is busy being contrite.

To steal a phrase from the last real show host we had, you appear to be almost a cult of one.

It's more fun freeping before retiring for the night. Freepers' one-liners are funnier than Lamo and Liberalman put together.
And, BTW, Jay.....there's no such thing as a fiscal conservative/social liberal. The terms are mutually exclusive.

I tuned Leno out a long time ago. The format is a yawn, and the narcissistic celebrities are a bore. It was entertaining a while back. Not any more.... Just my two cents.

Um, Keith Olberman does not do MNF. Different network.
But, on Sunday Night Football, I refuse to watch when Keith Olberman is on. No pregame or halftime; I switch to ESPN.

"How many obozo suck up jokes can you do? "
Absolutely right.
I started to watch the premiere; joke #1 was an obama suck-up...but trying to be "fair and balanced", I endured.
Joke #2 was another obama suck-up...I got agitated.
The "Tonight Show" has gone to hell since Carson left...but I'm having a great time recording and watching "Carson Classics", now on cable. Great stuff...there'll never be another Johnny. Joke#3 another commiebama suck up...I switched it off. I had the DVR running, this morning I deleted the show without even watching it.
Then, on Tuesday the promo said his primary "guest" was Michael Moore.
I said to myself, "Self, mental note: never, ever bother to watch Leno again".
I thought that maybe he went to the new show because of some "restraints" put on him by NBC...but, he just wanted to "get to bed early" I guess. Same format, same band, same schticks...no difference.
I heard NBC was basing their survival on the new Leno show...if that's the case, RIP NBC.
