Forty minutes in to it, and I haven't even chuckled once! The Obama interview skit was a joke, and not even a real one!
Seinfeld is about as washed up as five year old socks... Now, Kanye that yayhoo is trying to make everybody feel sorry for himself...
And I'm missing sterling entertainment like Coast to Coast for this crap???

Actually, there were two great games on tonight. Both were won in the last minutes of the game.

They had months to come up with stuff, and it was hyped endlessly.
We used to have a local show here in Seattle called “Almost Live!” and it was far, far funnier.
And they dump shows that had at least consistent draws like “Life” and “Deal or no Deal” for this junk? It worked at 11:30, but just ain’t got the substance to take the 10:00 PM time slot.
Jay Leno... hummm... That name rings a bell. Wasn’t he a host on one of those dinosaur media thingees?
I am dangerously close to unending wall blistering, make a hardcore Marine DI blush profanity for a) watching the Oakland Ducks, and b) for believing that game would end up any other way than how it ended. Bloody buggering sphincter craters...
In the bleeping ADS he was doing Headlines! He must know that is why some of us watch! He indeed had months to prepare. Oh well.
Yes, he did headlines. It’s my favorite part of his show, too.
It was good to see Jay back on TV. It’s like all is right with the world again. Kevin Ewbanks and the band were in the same place, the banter was the same, the opening monologue was good.... It was a pretty funny show, virtually the same as Jay’s Tonight show was, except there’s NO DESK. Just two big chairs for Jay and whoever his guest is.... I suppose they figured they needed to do something to distinguish the new show from Jay’s Tonight show.
But other than NO DESK, it is the same show.
Maybe thats why they offered bargain ad rates
Great news, NBC was really counting on this to save money.........Bomb Jay, bomb big time so that they have to throw your sorry liberal ass off the air in a month.
That carwash crap was a complete waste of time as was the rest of the show.

Jay DID do the headlines, but at the END of the show. Maybe that was something else they “changed” in order to try to make the new show look “different” than the old show. I have no idea why they would want to do that except to try to avoid stepping on Conan’s toes. But my answer is, “So what? Step on Conan’s toes.” With Jay on at 10, Conan’s ratings will take a beating anyway.

I thought that too. Even though it was advertised (and advertised and advertised) that it wouldn’t be a Tonigh Show clone, it was pretty much the same.
Heck, I was hoping that for once, they’d actually let Kevin and the band and that gal singer they got FINISH a song, but guess not..
In general, over the years, I’ve thought NBC had the best stuff. Not any more. Gutting the good stuff to give us more Amy Pohler don’t cut it...
Took Leno 2 minutes before he started ragging on Cheney and Bush.
