Most parents have experienced their young children getting restless when waiting for a meal in a restaurant.
But not many get the bill at the end of it with a message describing their offspring as a 'little f*****'.
This is what happened to parents Craig and Kimberley Cartin at a Mexican restaurant in Halifax, West Yorkshire, where they received the receipt which had 'Thankyyou littell f*****' written on it.

I think the gratuity is built into the price or the wages higher.
Also, IIRC from living over there, the English are a bit on the “frugal” side, if you get my drift...
You could make a million bucks if you opened up a restaurant like that in Sumter, S.C.
This town just opened a Five Guys Hamburgers.
We have have one 40 miles up the road in Columbia, S.C. and I frequent it monthly.
We went to the one in Sumter and the service and food sucked. It sucked so bad, I recommend to co-workers to eat at the Columbia location first, to see how it’s supposed to be done. I tell them the Sumter restaurant has been “Sumterized”. And, sadly they know what I mean.
Having seen some of my mom’s family in action (and my mom), I definitely get your drift. One probably gets stingy like that though when the government takes so much of your dough.
As a parent of a toddler, I sympathize with these customers. Restaurant personnel who cannot tolerate the occasional unruly child should be working somewhere else.
That being said, anyone who eats Mexican food in the UK is asking for trouble.
After opening on August 28 it had to close again just days later because the gas supply was inadequate causing dozens of cancellations.

I’ve been told that when I was little, I was seated between my parents in a local restaurant and when the waitress asked after the main course if ‘anyone would like some dessert’, I piped up with “I WANT APPLE PIE!” and amused, the waitress said “would you like your pie ala mode?” to which I responded “NO! I don’t want it in the camode, I want it on a plate!”
I just want to pinch her wittle cheekie weekies.
Two years old and already complaining about restaurant food and the service!

If I had done that I would have been hauled outside the restaurant and given a good beating, of course that was 70 years ago when it was considered commendable and not child abuse!
Since she carried them for nine months and went through labor I took it upon myself to always let my wife stay seated and eat.
When the children were older they knew, under threat and penalty of death or dismemberment they had better stay on the straight and narrow in public and we usually brought along a coloring book and a small pack of crayons.
We almost always got compliments for our children's behavior and we are still proud of it today. we may have been tough but they behaved and have our attitude about raising their children to behave in public.
My kids were usually well behaved in restaurants when little. Even would get comments from nearby tables. One place we went to had a divider (like a small wall) between two tables so you could flip it around to either have one large table or two smaller ones.
One of my kids leaned up against it and it swung down and gave him a bit of a bump, but no big deal. In looking at it one of the latches was broken and didn’t hold it in place securely. I switched spots with my young boy. At the end of the meal I mentioned to the cashier that the divider was not latching all the way.
He replied something like “well if your kids wouldn’t have been goofing around with it, he wouldn’t have got hurt...”. I got into him about how my kids weren’t goofing around, it was broken and I just wanted to let them know so they could fix it but now that you mention it that bump is getting bigger and my son is injured because your divider is broken and I want to talk to your manager.... Turns out he WAS the manager, and told him we would never eat there again and that we would be talking to the franchise.
The franchise said they would send out some coupons for free meals, but I told them I don’t want coupons as I would never set foot in their restaurants again, but I want the manager punished. They said they would talk to him and they still sent the coupons. Never did use them. A couple years later the place closed its doors.
How can ‘chili con carne’ be considered mexican? Its Texican to say the least.
