Premiers Thursday, September 17 @ 8PM EDT/PDT on SeeBS
20 new contestants will compete for the $1 million prize on the islands of Samoa
Who will be the sole Survivor?
I liked Shambo... can’t really say much about the remaining survivors. Except Russell is a horrible person! lol
Doing the Survivor ping list has been fun. I think I've enjoyed doing it even more than you've enjoyed reading it. I'm sad it has to end like this.
For the last time, here are my predictions: (of course, "highlight to see")
Final 5: Jaison wins immunity, Brett voted out.
Final 4: Mick wins immunity, Jaison voted out.
Final 3: 2 votes Russell, 2 votes Natalie, 5 votes Mick. Mick wins $1 million!
Remember, the finale is Sunday, December 20 @ 8 PM.
Goodbye.
Goodbye, Jill. I will miss you. :)
Thanks for maintaining this ping list, you've done a fine job.
Jill, you will be missed.
Agree with your thoughts.
Be safe.
Sorry to see you go. I’ve enjoyed your posts. I wish you all the best.
Jill is my friend.
If FR isn’t good enough for Jill, it isn’t good enough for me.
I can convey no higher praise.
“9/11 Troofery”
Whatever else you claim, this point is patently false. FR is not a Truther haven.
Stuff an asshat would get hammered for a couple of years ago is now allowed to sink off the front page on its own - with a number of loon posts.
And speaking of front page. If you hit just News/Activism you can see a number of posts on the same subject day, after day, after day.
Nobody “READS” before they post. Something happens on Friday afternoon and when somebody gets back to their work computer on Monday they just have to post it as Breaking News - just like the 20 or more other posters did all weekend.
Ain't what is used to be.
Shame to see you go. Don’t give up for the sake of a few kooks.
Sheesh, Jill — if you only associate with crowds that agree with you on everything, you’re going to live a lonely life.
It’s important to understand and acknowledge differing points of view in order to, at the very least, mount a logical argument against them. The old “know your enemy” thing.
Take care.
Wow — and props to you. You called it!
You sure you’re not an insider?
Russell should have won. It’s a game, and he played with total concentration and determination. Poofy jury that puts feelings over facts. He owned them.
Russell owned the game, and ultimately, it was Russell who assumed the jury would go by the banner and vote for whomever outplayed, outlasted and outwitted them, and they instead chose to give it to the person who pretended to care about them.
The rules of Survivor's final vote are: Whatever you decide to base your vote on, that's what you do, and you make your vote based upon your personal choice. The game's rigged in some ways, but in that, whatever two or three outlasted you, those are your choice, and the jury went with who they thought should get the money.
A bitter jury, blindsided over and over again, every one of them sitting there because Russell took advantage of the situation, or created the situation, where they would be voted out. Who knows what is going to happen in Heroes vs Villains, as I think it was filmed before this series was even shown, but I hope Russell will be even better in that one, learning from his minor mistakes in this game to pull down the victory in season 20.
Either way, I don't feel sorry for Russell. In addition to the hundred grand he won from the people's choice, he also won at least $100,000 for his appearance, plus whatever place he earned in Heroes vs Villains, and absolutely will have tremendous notoriety which he will hopefully be able to cash in on on the corporate speaking circuit. Not a bad payoff, all things considered, and hopefully, he'll use his second chance to bring home the million dollar prize next time.
“.......as I think it was filmed before this series was even shown, but I hope Russell will be even better in that one, learning from his minor mistakes in this game to pull down the victory in season 20.”
I don’t think Russell learned simply because the jury votes had not been read yet. At Final TC he said he had a 55% chance of winning. And then a couple of weeks later S20 was filmed.
I think he thought that was good enough.
Last night as the votes were read Russell got POed and his eyes were red for the next couple of segmemts. I think right there he had a flash that “I just lost S20 also this same dang way.”
I said, from the first week on, that Russell was the best Survivor contestant ever, but when a bitter jury is involved, all bets are off.
Did they just choose to not show Natalie for some reason, I didn't even know who she was until the final few weeks, before that she was just another survivor blond. She did seem like a nice, Christian girl in the end, and if Russell didn't win, I was glad it was her. I would, however, have liked to know her other than Russells "dumb blond".
russell was ready with hi RussellGotScrewed.com website two minutes after the votes were announced— he knew he was going to lose. His 55% chance of winning statement was for the jury to make them feel that he was the right choice...
The S20 jury shouldn’t be the bitter type, they are all Survivor junkies, but they already have a lot of friendships formed in that past-Survivor contestant clique and that will work against the unknown Russell. In his favor, he is the only unknown person out there on S20...
As I said upthread, the jury didn’t see Russell’s game play, they saw a guy with a lot of immunity idols.
I don’t think Russell makes final three in the Heroes and Villians season. I think he was upset becase he lost that season and this was his last shot.

Jill - haven’t talked to you in a long time, but always liked your posts and felt you were someone I could relate to.
I agree with what you say here...
