Made my day....Eagles have all migrated now so I am supposed to clean house for the next three months! I still find myself staring at the empty tree nest! lol.. addicted? you bet!

Thanks Amy and today is much better. It is a bit cooler.

Yes Yorkie, the smoke has actually been seen clear into San Diego.
Northridge is in the Valley but still would get plenty of smoke.

Today when I took daughter to school our cars were covered in ash. the drive up to Glendale towards the fire area brought “ showers” of ash.

1 The golden-rod is yellow; 2 The corn is turning brown; 3 The trees in apple orchards 4 With fruit are bending down. 5 The gentian's bluest fringes 6 Are curling in the sun; 7 In dusty pods the milkweed 8 Its hidden silk has spun. 9 The sedges flaunt their harvest, 10 In every meadow nook; 11 And asters by the brook-side 12 Make asters in the brook, 13 From dewy lanes at morning 14 The grapes' sweet odors rise; 15 At noon the roads all flutter 16 With yellow butterflies. 17 By all these lovely tokens 18 September days are here, 19 With summer's best of weather, 20 And autumn's best of cheer. 21 But none of all this beauty 22 Which floods the earth and air 23 Is unto me the secret 24 Which makes September fair. 25 'T is a thing which I remember; 26 To name it thrills me yet: 27 One day of one September 28 I never can forget. Good afternnon everyone, love the relaxing opener. We're still busy cleaning out my in-laws house, will be finished up with that project this week.

Our computer has a virus that has slowed everything down, convinced my DH to wait until after next week to have it looked at. I have some posts made up to post while Amy is gone and don't want to take a chance of being computerless.

Thanks pollywog. His fever has dropped from 103 to 99. He had to wear a mask upon entering the building at the dr.’s office yesterday. still awaiting test results.

Amy, your birds are so, so beautiful - I love this mauve one! (These are not still reruns, are they? Cause I don't remember seeing them, and even if we have seen them before, they are still gorgeous!)

I'm listening to Willie again - just love that song. (I just love his voice - period!) Thanks for giving us fresh new threads every month!

I made 4 new bird graphics and one get well graphic last night and this morning. The others are reruns.

I enjoy making them; I may take an afternoon off and just make graphics. It looks like I’m getting in a rut again.

Oh, no - I hope the virus doesn't spread and take over programs you need before you can get your pc cleaned up. We need you next week for sure; hopefully you won't have any bigger problems by waiting to get it checked out. :(
