m happy to hear this little bit of good news and hope that Shallie continues to feel a little better every day. I do hope the doctor was wrong about it possibly being cancer of her liver. :(

I’m enjoying all your pretty hummingbirds. Those are the sweetest little birds ever. They just make me smile, and I was amazed at your picture of them swarming those feeders getting ready for their long winter trip.

I loved doing today’s posts..I love Humminbirds..They reside only in the Americas..nowhere else.

We've got ‘em outside the kitchen window here as well... attracted, no doubt, by the magic ruby elixir which Dear Wife concocts in the kitchen, and has me set out regularly. Haven't gotten out the camera yet to record their action - too busy watching them, I suspect... grin.

I love to watch them..My raccoon freeloaders broke 4 feeders so I gave up on hummingbird feeding this year..I’ll figure out a method to keep those bandits away from the feeder..I miss watching too much..

Hi Billie, Its always good to see you! I told Meg this afternoon I had just taken the cake from the oven and she said she wished she could sample it. When pineapple upside down cakes comes out, the smell will kill you. Bet we could have put away half of it.....LOL! See you all when I can. My brother arrives tomorrow! They will probably leave Thursday! I try to get them to stay longer but they don’t!

My niece is coming and she told me she’s doing the driving! LOL! She lives in Mississippi and has made some reservations for them in Gatlinburg going back home!
