Good evening.
Go Cheney! The former Vice-President strikes back at the Obama Justice Dept.'s attack on CIA investigation techniques. Cheney, unlike the Holder's Justice, values our safety & a strong national defense.
Thousands of California homes and families are in the path of devastating fires. And so we pray for their safety and that of the firefighters.
I’m fine, thanks. You?
ROTFLOL!
Switch to diet coke.
I know how you feel though. Sunday night after my meeting I came home quite stressed and MAD. So, about 2330, I took two muscle relaxants. Got up Monday, still tense so I took two more early hoping it would wear off before school. It did for the most part. Still tense though so I took two more in the afternoon and went to sleep. I woke up about supper time and stayed up like normal and went to sleep normally.
This morning, though, I was still feeling the effect of the relaxants. It was such a groogy early morning.
For the most part I’m fine. I’m still needing a source for B12 but other than that I’m just puffing along like normal.
I woke up around 4 because Elsa acted like she needed to go out. I couldn’t fall asleep so I surfed the stations and found a comedy show I have never seen. It’s from Canada (Corner Gas). Funny, silly show. Just what I need.
Today I see a doctor about my sleeping habits and other issues. I hope she can give me some help.
Good morning, lysie. Is it a Mr. Coffee? I program mine all the time.
I’ll pray for that. I’ll pray, too, that the doc really listens.
Hey! Good news. My doc is back and after listening to the run-around I’ve been getting about my appendix is willing to write the orders for me to get the thing out in Singapore or Jakarta. I probably can schedule it sometime around Christmas (as long as the finances hold out). She said there is plenty of justification for it. She also seemed to agree with me that the docs in the states either didn’t understand how long I live here or they just flat didn’t believe me.
comedy is good.
So is Whit’s End and Adventures in Odyssey. It’s a radio drama revolving around an ice cream shop and discovery emporium. I’ve been listening to it since the mid-80s or sometime in that era, I think (which makes me one of the earliest fans). It is produced by Focus On the Family.
Thanks. I’ll be praying for your sitiuation, too.
Sunday night there was a Honeymooners’s marathon on WGN-TV. I bet I watched close to 10 episodes.
Do you have the owner’s manual? If so, you can find how to reprogram it in there.
It has a nice feature. It keeps the coffee warm for 4 hours.
I know that’s a good show and appreciated by many.
Now, y’all are just doing things the hard way. Programming, planning, measuring, all that mess. And then you have to clean up.
Ugh!
A nice simple diet coke. You open the freezer, get out the ice cubes. Place in a glass. Grab a can, pop the top. Pour.
Enjoy.
The simple pleasures of life are the best.
I know , but I love the warmth of a good hot cup of coffee.
Wonder what the latest is about those CA fires??

Off to exercise soon...
WOW...that is great news, Thirds!!
She is over the top with him, always has been....and though we disagree (greatly) she will get angry when we voice this....angry, angry....
Unfortunately it's those kinds of people who won't listen to reason...(she can't stand Glenn Beck)...
This woman (& her husband) wouldn't even enter the church when my mom died...(she doesn't believe in 'regulated religion'....)
Even when invited, she won't attend anything having to do with a church function, even if her only niece is part of the program.
We pray for her and try to be civil, but it can be a strain.
