Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's SarahPAC has donated money to the campaigns of Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Orrin Hatch of Utah, as well as to Republican Ohio Senate candidate Rob Portman, according to a Friday filing with the Federal Election Commission.

The exact amounts of the contributions were not reported, but Palin had to list the names of candidates she had financially supported to make SarahPAC a bona fide political action committee.

Her contributions to Arizona Sen. John McCain, for whom she served as a running mate in the 2008 presidential campaign, and Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski had been reported in a previous filings

I fell off the 'Cuda Caravan well before the election.

You never supported Palin, ever, you were attacking her on freerepublic the very day that she was chosen by McCain, but you are a long time Romney supporter.

Not true on both counts.

I'm sorry that this revelation of SarahPAC's disbursements is such disturbing news for you. Otherwise you wouldn't be playing the "SarahHater"/"Romneybot" card.

Anyway, I thought I was more than charitable in my assessment of how the people who advise Mrs. Palin are not serving her very well. They have a lot to answer for in this latest fiasco, particularly the treasurer who is filing the paperwork. Mrs. Palin really, really needs to get better people.

Please try to enjoy what is left of this summer.

It most certainly is true, your posting history is permanent.

You are a long time Romney fan and you started going after Palin on the day that she was first announced and you never let up.

You seem to have a lttle problem with truth, no wonder you keep going after Governor Palin.

I think I’ve got the logic from Romney supporters. Palin, a conservative, cannot support Republicans because they are not as conserivative as her.

Yet, Romney is more liberal than nearly all of them. So, they set an impossible standard for Palin and yet vote for liberal Romney, thus invalidating the sincerity of their complaint about Palin.

Fight with the Democrats, not other Republicans. Or their won’t be anything left of your country.

A socialist is a socialist whether they have a (D) or an (R) next to their name. The only difference between the two is whether you want your socialism in the next 5 years or in the next 10 years. Not fighting against the socialists with an (R) next to their name is what got us into this current mess.

As far as Sarah’s Pac is concerned, I have a gut feeling, that the ones she gave money to had already given her money and she was paying them back. She hasn’t endorsed anyone except for Rick Perry

Rick Perry is one of the biggest RINOs masquerading as a conservative there is. The man pushed huge no-bid government projects (involving European companies), he pushed for the largest government land grab in the history of Texas, land that was to be taken from private individuals and given to private companies (including European companies). He wanted to push a vaccine for a sexually transmitted disease onto 12 year old girls without the permission of the parents. He's enriched his cronies and his family. The fact that he started out his political career as a Democrat before switching upon the advice of Phil Gramm should have rung a few warning bells.

He's brilliant though - he's been playing the tea party participants like a well-tuned fiddle. He's got them believing he supports states rights, never mind that he wants the state government to grab land left and right from private citizens for other private entities. Hell, he even had some convinced he believed in secession even though he backed off as soon as the media got wind of it.

You seem to have a little problem with truth, no wonder you keep going after Governor Palin.

Well, in light of everything that has happened since, I really don’t think I attacked her on August 30, 2008.

Wow. That should teach me to never, ever again ask for more tin foil for my hat. Of course, back then, I thought she would be quitting her job as the veep, not Governor.

Free to peruse and resurrect the rest of my prior Palin posts. I stand by whatever I said.

Rick Perry is a better candidate than Kay B. and she may beat him in the election. Perry needs all the help that he can get to beat her.

That's like saying lung cancer is better than liver cancer - he's still a RINO who would love to spend us into debt and steal a lot of land from honest Texans.

I like Palin, but I am of the opinion that she is not a conservative - these donations to the worst Rinos in the Senate confirm it.

Since you are so intense about this, maybe you should find out if these are donations OR bills paid in full.

Oh, wait, I get it---you keep cutting, pasting and posting the same comment, thinking that I will eventually get the hint and stop replying to you. Oh, well.

I most certainly do not have a problem with the truth. You are just upset that I had Mrs Palin pegged back on August 30, 2008. Of course, at the time, I thought she would resign her job as VPOTUS, not quit her job as Governor.

What I do think is that Mrs. Palin has chosen to surround herself with people who may not be giving her the best advice or giving her their best efforts for the money. (See the 265 page PAC report)

Case in point--the initials are Meg Stapleton, who is reported to be the head of the Alaska based firm "IzzyLene Consulting" which received a lot of SarahPAC dollars. Here's a tip, Meg--you respond promptly and in writing to all invitations, you don't waste time counting them.

As for the speculation by some that the donations to McCain & Murkowski are simply "repayments" -- the last time I looked (and who has time for this?) there was no mention of in this in the monies received section.

In my perfunctory perusal of the PAC papers, the donations all seemed to be from individuals, and all were under $500.

I happily admit I could be very wrong--I have neither the time nor the inclination to properly review the latest filing. (Or the several amended filings) I welcome any replies to the contrary, provided that you support your statements.

ansel12, for your convenience, I have posted your reply below. I fixed your typo in "lttle." It's Ok if you don't respond.

It most certainly is true, your posting history is permanent.
