We suffered several months without rain, yorkie, and now everything is so lush and green it’s almost unbelievable at the difference a few inches of rain in a relatively short period of time can make. Hope the 5 minutes you got are just the opening act for the long, slow soaker that’s coming very soon.

Did I forget to add a smiley? :) I just happened to make my silly comment after seeing your poem with the same picture used the other day with Nnb’s poem (I think). It seems like several pictures have been posted more than once the past couple of days - maybe the same poems. Maybe it just seems that way. But I did the same thing with Kevin Skinner’s music today - posted it yesterday but got the link messed up so I posted the same info again.

I love reading about your wildlife; we are away from city streets and close neighbors, and have had several interesting visitors sauntering up the road or across the field - or just up on the front porch looking in the front door (which is mostly all glass). Yesterday we spotted the first rattlesnake of this year (a very young one, which means that mama is most likely around somewhere); two nights ago a coyote set off the alarm at the gate as he came to visit, and every night we have a fox that comes. He leaves a little present for us to scoop up in the same place on the driveway every night. :)

You see dragons? Where? There aren't any at those links.

I know. It reminded me of some pictures I’ve seen of Dolly’s dogs. They will do anything to catch a stick Dolly throws! I have wondered at times how they keep from getting hurt!

That guy could come up with some doozies now and then! He was just great fun to be around. And the couple we ran around with a lot, when you put the two guys together and let them started telling tales of boyhood, they would tell some wild things. When their backs were turned, she and I would laugh and say “How many times have we heard this tale?”

Interesting! Snakes, no, scary! Funny works of the fox! Do you think he’s trying to tell you something? Guess he smells where he was the night before and he keeps it marked well!
