So cute...love it.
I’m doing just fine, Conor. My friend that I have been caring for, is going to have an epidural steroid injection this afternoon, and another next week and then the final the week after that. I pray this works for her, as she is in constant pain.
Hope you are doing well, this lovely Tuesday.
Wheelbarrow will be in town from NJ for his first visit this weekend. Will be seeing LaFlavour at the Hudson Green concert on sunday & a few other things we have planned including the Coast Guard retirement ceremony of FReeper One Loyal American in WV on Friday.
While he was stationed in Cleveland Joe (OLA) was in charge of homeland security at the port of cleveland.. I attended his chief promotion ceremony & got to meet the awesome leadership of the coast guard & a die for view of cleveland from top floor of their offices in downtown overlooking the lake. We did a lot of Freeps together & he is a really great man. His sweet wife & is a great gal also (non freeper)
After 911 he was called up from reserves & left his post at the University of Chicago..
He now owns a farm in southern Ohio & has land & livestock. His pix are always fun.
decided to include him in this ping as he might want to direct his wife to this thread - well him too, he will have more time after he retires.
It will go up to 99 today, here in the high desert, but Phoenix is going to hit 113, with the low tonight at 90.
Anybody else wishing they could open their window at night, and feel cool air? (IOW, anyone ready for Fall?)
Dolly, I have thought about Wheelbarrow often, and wondered how he has adjusted to his new surroundings. Please let him know that others care. :-)
Hi Dolly, always glad to hear from you and all the news you bring to us, Busy Lady! Glad Wheelbarrow is getting to come for a visit. I have thought about him a lot since he had to go away! Bless his heart!
Sorry you’re having computer problems also. Mine has just been so slow its no fun to bother but it does seem some better today after de-fragging and re-booting a couple of times. We’ll see soon.
Wishing you a very enjoyable day!
(I must tell you that by the time this week is over, *I* will appreciate all you do even more than ever! LOL) Kidding - yesterday was a fun Monday - don't know if I can keep it up all week the way you do, but gonna give it my best shot.
Today is a change of pace - Proud Mary is *the* funnest song - betcha no one can listen and sit still. :)
Toe tappin’, foot stompin’, body movin’ music...of course you already knew that! Nice Billie, cute graphic...thanks!!
Love it Billie! And the band is a rockin’!!
They remind me of one of my favorites, the Gig Street Jazz Band (Playing “There’ll Be a Hot Time In The Old Town, Tonight):

Johnn, that is so tender and beautiful. Thank you for sharing with us, always!
If you look closely at Post #320, you'll see a portion of that girl's right hand that I forgot to 'remove'!
LOL! I THOUGHT he looked familiar!
Billie, you are a GENIUS with your graphics. How did you remove the hands? (Never mind - just tell me that you will remove wrinkles, if I send you a picture of me.) Wink wink and a giggle.
I'm going to be humming that song all day, now!
Oh, my goodness, JC! I never even heard of a Cereus Plant. Only once a year - I’m glad she was able to capture that picture.
Thank you for sharing.
I thought it was pretty. Just think though, waiting a year to see it bloom. I wouldn’t mind having one but I need to know more about where to keep it in the winter, etc. They live in Columbus, GA.
I am not good with plants inside the house. Think I’m impatient with them and sometimes they shed too much and you always have a mess to clean up.
The little Riverboat Queen is precious. Is it a feeder or just something pretty to look at?? LOL! I commented on your little good morning doggie this morning....he was cute!
