Are others like me? Every time that I make this soup, I say to myself “this is the best I’ve ever made”.....that can’t be every time. What I think it is, is I don’t make it often because for one, I make too much, and number two, its been so long that it makes me think its better than the last time.
Its a good wintertime food but with air conditioning, it makes no difference if I’m craving it. LOL!

That could be me, jaycee - I don't like seafood - my husband LOVES it.
Yes, I think I do remember you saying you didn't like seafood....(I sorry)....Yorkie likes seafood but is allergic to all shellfish. I guess I love seafood so well that I think everyone should. LOL!

Just beautiful! The horse, the words. The widdle girl.
Did you see the “Catcerto?” Nora the cat, who plays the piano on YouTube, had a concerto arranged for her by a musician. It’s a hoot. If you all haven’t seen it, I’ll try to post here.

Hi All! We're getting some hot and humid tropical pushed up here from the Tropical Storm in the Gulf.
It's a pretty oppressive heat, just miserable, don't know how people live in Florida during the summer, probably explains why we see so many Florida car tags in this area during the season.

I did see a clip on t.v.....wish you would go ahead and post the link though. What I saw was precious but only a part of it, too! I’m sure others would like the link too!

Hi Aqua! It was quite hot here today and then a big rain storm poured buckets. We’ve been getting a lot of sudden rains during this hot weather. But in a little while its just as hot!
Good to see you tonight. We have had ‘kissing day’ here today. It started with Amy and Billie’s beautiful opening and the song “As Time Goes By” with Frank Sinatra. You should run through the thread when you get time. I’m about ready to shut down for the night as I am so tired! Please come back more often!

We're getting the scattered showers here every few hours, it's a big difference from the drought we had over the past few years. (For anyone wondering, I'm in north GA)
Get some rest, I'll go look through the thread, it sounds interesting. :)

"Alrighty then, let's hear it." I already did explain it. Just go back to my post and highlight all the text. I printed the words in white letters.
It's the "Secret Decoder Ring" technique.

I was trying to think if I knew where you lived or not. My brother lives in Columbus, Ga. and we talk almost every day!
He tells me of the hot weather. Seems to be as hot in Georgia as it is in Florida. Promise you will join us in all the fun we have here at Amy’s. Goodnight, Aqua, I am closing down now. ((Hugs))

I Know I Can
[God] is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20
Remember the story of The Little Engine That Could? That determined little train climbed the steep hill by chanting positively, I think I can. I think I can. And then, as it gained more resolve, it declared, I know I can. I know I can.
No one would disagree that followers of Christ should think and live in a positive way. But do you ever find yourself depending too much on your own abilities rather than on the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit?
In John 15, Jesus explained our need for complete dependence on Him when He said, He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing (v.5). Paul reminded us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens [us] (Phil. 4:13), that the excellence of the power [is] of God and not of us (2 Cor. 4:7), and that we are strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man (Eph. 3:16).
Because of Gods power, we can do whatever He asks of usthrough Him. We can base our confidence not in our own abilities, but in Gods absolute promises.
So, today, with exceedingly more power than the little engine could ever muster, we can say, I know I can. I know I canbecause of Jesus.
God gives to His servants this promise:
Youll not have to face life alone;
And when you grow weak in your struggle,
His strength will prevailnot your own. Hess
