REST IN PEACE, FALLEN BROTHER!
Captain Daniel Ambrozinski, Poland, KIA Afghanistan, 10AUG2009
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
God Of Our Fathers
Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in peace! We who remain hold you in high honor. Rest, fallen brother, in this sacred precinct; We who remain keep this place sacred. Rest, fallen brother, among these, your comrades; We who remain keep the watch. Rest, fallen brother, among these who answered the Nations call; We who remain press the fight forward in your name. Rest, fallen brother, lay down thy burden; We who remain have taken up the torch. Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in eternal peace!

Here you go - I had done one with 'me' in the car
at one time, but couldn't find it, so I put me
in that 'space' behind Louie again. :)

Gosh, I’m sorry I couldn’t be on with you today! There are so many pretty things posted by everyone today. I love every single post. When I finally decided I could get on for a little while, “I couldn’t get on Free Republic” period!! I tried numerous times and it wouldn’t work and I was thinking the “Twilight Zone”.....LOL! I am going to post what I had planned and then I hope I can make a few comments on some posts. Thank you Billie for such a beautiful thread and the beautiful posts you make! You are a talented lady!
I don’t know why but the song “You Don’t Know Me” makes me sad and teary eyed. Its so beautiful. I’ve been listening to it while I type.

Afternoon, Billie.
Nice music today.
Taking Logan to TaeKwonDo class in a few minutes but wanted to stop by and say Howdy

Thank you so much, jaycee. I hope that FR is over being erratic now. (though I'm sure I don't hope it as much as Jim does!) I enjoyed doing the kids' posts because I had so many in my files I hadn't used and many of them didn't speak to me for an "Opening Post", but they worked out well for individual comments with a few words or short poem.
And you know I love to post pretty music. :) "You Don't Know Me", along with about a dozen more in the same vein, are on an album by Newell Oler - such a wonderful, romantic collection of pretty songs. I bought it probably 10 or 12 years ago - recommended to me by a friend - and the only place I found it was in a special little gift shop. It's really nice background music, especially in a home with a great built-in sound system and speakers in every room (which, unfortunately, mine isn't!)

I simply adore piano music like that (even if some of it makes me cry) its just soothing. You can play it any time you want and it would make me happy. Thanks!!! And I have it at the top of screen and when it stops, I start it again.

Sounds marvelous, Lori! Isn’t it wonderful taking all those fun trips? Sounds as if you all are having the times of your life and that is a wonderful thing. More fun than one long vacation as you always have another adventure ahead of you!
Happy Trails!

That cute little girl looks like she has almost tears in her eyes, doesn’t she...she is so precious. I think children and babies put a song in all our hearts! And critters do too, to tell the whole truth. LOL!

That is so precious, yorkie...I can remember that terrible lump in my throat all day long until I knew “my baby had made it”....we all go through that, don’t we? Where have all those years flown so quickly?
I was always a room mother so I could be involved with all their little trips, etc. Like the song “Funny, how time slips away”...something like that! Love that song too. I can’t think of many songs that I don’t like.
