Gosh, I’m sorry I couldn’t be on with you today! There are so many pretty things posted by everyone today. I love every single post. When I finally decided I could get on for a little while, “I couldn’t get on Free Republic” period!! I tried numerous times and it wouldn’t work and I was thinking the “Twilight Zone”.....LOL! I am going to post what I had planned and then I hope I can make a few comments on some posts. Thank you Billie for such a beautiful thread and the beautiful posts you make! You are a talented lady!

I don’t know why but the song “You Don’t Know Me” makes me sad and teary eyed. Its so beautiful. I’ve been listening to it while I type.

Thank you so much, jaycee. I hope that FR is over being erratic now. (though I'm sure I don't hope it as much as Jim does!) I enjoyed doing the kids' posts because I had so many in my files I hadn't used and many of them didn't speak to me for an "Opening Post", but they worked out well for individual comments with a few words or short poem.

And you know I love to post pretty music. :) "You Don't Know Me", along with about a dozen more in the same vein, are on an album by Newell Oler - such a wonderful, romantic collection of pretty songs. I bought it probably 10 or 12 years ago - recommended to me by a friend - and the only place I found it was in a special little gift shop. It's really nice background music, especially in a home with a great built-in sound system and speakers in every room (which, unfortunately, mine isn't!)
