I'll accept minimum wage.......

When I had a large sales crew of all females that were almost all 19, I actually kept on a useless non productive male mgr. to serve as a buffer between me and those aggressive females, commission sales girls can be very competitive about going for what they perceive as the top dog.

McKinley was infamous for saying something to that effect about the Philippines 100 years ago,

Infamous to the citizens of the nation of the United States or to the nation of Vatican?

I am having real trouble reconciling this with his famous beautiful “girlfriends”...

LOL! Click on some of the photos and you may get an explanation as to who they are. FWIW, I saw a Tebow photo with his arm around your significant other.........was she just posing for a picture or is she sleeping with him? LOL!

Hopefully you get the gist of this post.......but to explain it to you: Just because you happen to see the guy with a chick doesn't mean he's involved with her.......Every party that he's ever attended where pics have been taken are probably going to be posted on the internet from now to eternity.......

Suddenly, I’ve become a fan of his.

Not because he’s saving himself until marriage, but because he sounds like a genuinely good guy.

In a lot of those countries Catholicism is mixed with animism.

But that aside, there are still some pretty isolated groups in those countries which aren’t Catholic.

80% Catholic means 20% non-Catholic, and in the Phillines, that non-Catholic is more than likely muslim.

>>Nothing against Tebow, but why is it that Protestant Missionaries are constantly going to countries that are predominantly Catholic, rather than to the countries in Africa, or the Middle East, or ANY Asian country besides the Philippines, where non-Christian people are the norm. The Philippines is 80% Catholic and 10% Protestant. Besides the Philippines, they seem to favor heavily Catholic Latin American countries, which also have large baptized populations.<<

Because some Protestants believe that Catholics aren’t Christian. That they are not saved and they are going to hell for belonging to “The Cult”.

The sports world was rocked today by reports of a college athlete eschewing fornication. The NCAA is launching an investigation. It is expected that the U. of Florida will be put on probation for at least the 2009 football season. The university Athletic Director announced they will be reviewing their policy of recruiting homeschooled athletes, although he cautions observers not to judge the whole homeschooled population by this one unfortunate case.

You’re right, it is none of their business. But the media likes to do that because they think it makes religious people look weird.

And what the stunningly ignorant MSM doesn't realize, is that far more people identify with and admire MEN like that than they even have a clue about.

>>Why is this a Catholic Ping?<<

Why NOT?
Nyer runs the list, Catholics actually do like other Christians and we LOVE good examples for our kids.

I had commented on that to a friend several years about, regarding Europe. Wide open missionary field. They have turned away from their faith.

Y’all must read!

Tebow was the first home-schooled athlete to be nominated for the Heisman Trophy. “That’s really cool,” he said at the time. “A lot of times people have this stereotype of homeschoolers as not very athletic - it’s like, go win a spelling bee or something like that - it’s an honor for me to be the first one to do that.
