ON October 9,2009 NASA will attempt to bomb the Moon to look for water. But speculation has it that its an aggressive move against a "supposed" extraterrestrial base thats on the Dark side of the Moon.U.S. astronauts, NASA employees, Soviet scientists, NSA confirm the extraterrestrial presence on the moon.
“The Moon doesnt have a dark side any more than the Earth does.”
I hope you are aware that the Moon does not rotate on its axis like Earth does and that the same side of the Moon always faces earth. For us it may as well be the dark side because we never see it unless we send a spacecraft to circle the moon and photograph the side that never faces Earth.
Its also interesting that NASA to my knowledge has never declassified more than about 30% of the detailed mapping images of the back side of the Moon. I cannot imagine that anything on either side of the Moon in most any detail would be in the interest of “National Security” to that extent, or would have ever needed to be classified in the first place.
Things that are hidden for no valid reason always arouse suspicion...
Reminds me of children in a school playground... na na na na na na..I know something you don’t.
I’m going to put in a place marker for myself, and follow this thread.
One thing I’ve noticed about Richard Hoagland. He’s always announcing things like France is about to open their files on UFOs, which contain photos and recordings that prove there are aliens. Or that NASA is about to publish pictures that Neil Armstrong took on the Moon, showing shopping malls, etc. There’s going to be a press conference next Thursday, where reporters are going to be given all this material.
But nothing about this stuff ever shows up in the lamestream media.
Do these press conferences get cancelled or something?
Why do you make excuses for people who ignorantly and thoughtlessly use the phrase “dark side of the Moon”?
There is no dark side of the Moon. It’s that simple.
There is a far side of the Moon. That’s what it should be called.
If I remember correctly, 59% of the moon is visible at one time or another from the earth because of peculiaries of the moon's movememts. The other 41% was never seen by people until 1959 when the Soviets photographed the far side.
I was just pointing out that the Moon (like Earth) does not have a fixed dark side.
For someone to live on the dark side, would imply that they were in nearly constant motion. (which doesn’t really make sense)
Perhaps the author of the article meant ‘far side’ instead of ‘dark side’, but had a synapse misfire?
On second thought, maybe they were trying to make fun of the ET/UFO folks.

The moon rotates around the earth, with the same side always facing the earth.
“There is no dark side of the moon, really. Matter of fact, it’s all dark.”
Yes, but out of a spirit of kindness and courtesy, I ignore that. Who knows? I may wobble someday....:D
This is serious im not kidding
If any of u read the damn article it said that Aldrin and Armstrong both saw sometype of UFO on the horizen
Aldrin filmed a little bit of them....and that US and Russian aeronauts both commented on sometype UFO even the NSA did.
and hugh. it's hugh.
The Moon doesnt have a dark side any more than the Earth does.

The moon rotates at exactly the same rate as the earth - so the hemisphere we see always faces us and we never see the other side - but you are right, the far side of the moon DOES indeed get sunlight.
If they’re really going to do this - are they going to bomb the “face” of the moon, or the far side of the moon?
