Ted Kennedy was left paralyzed after being hit with a devastating seizure, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.
Although he'd been fighting a valiant battle against brain cancer for more than a year, the 77-year-old senator was jolted by a frightening seizure in mid-July that paralyzed the right side of his body and left his speech slurred.

It will be brutal here in MA. 24 hr. coverage slobbering over Kennedy for a week. My TV and radio will be shut off when it happens....
For sure, Father. I don't think JFK would have gone that route.
I hope Kennedy hangs in there and stays alive for years and years.
Byrd, too.
Ping!
“I hate to see anyone suffer, even him.”
I second that sentiment.
However, if someone HAS to suffer, I can’t think of anyone better than Ted Kennedy.
“Yet somehow he still manages to vote by proxy...”
He’s a Demoncrat, he can vote indefinitely.
More likely it's some sort of ploy to speed up the bill's passage so he can "see his dream come true" or some such thing.
AMEN! I personally believe that even SATAN has No Place in HELL for this sick man.
We owe no courtesies and compassion for his wicked deeds. He deserves every opprobrium that can possibly be heaped upon him.
But we do owe him one thing: the prayer and wish that he would repent before it’s too late. It is wrong to wish hell on anyone, no matter how wicked.
But we need not play nice. His wickedness is mountainous. He led the way for Catholic Democrats to betray the unborn. He murdered through culpable negligence a young woman to save his political hide.
But no one can rightly wish hell on anyone. To do so is itself wicked. I have nothing but contempt for what he has done. But I am obligated to pray that he might repent before he dies.
Those who don’t believe in heaven or hell are off the hook. But those who do, can’t morally wish hell on anyone.
I’m going to fetch my flame suit now.
Stroke called seizure, permament at his age and with brain cancer...boo hoo, he’s a far leftest....1 less on this earth..
We don’t know for sure about JFK.
Bobby WAS pro-abortion, as early as 1965.
I believe that you’re right.
U sure? She was partying with married Captain Oldsmobile...
Goodby Teddie!
No more votes for you!

I see FReepers saying he will vote by proxy
He boozed enough and ate enough over the many years to kill Hippo
I guess buying Mary Jo’s parents a snazzy new Caddy did not straighten out his life
On the Amendment (Thune Amdt. No. 1618 ) roll call vote
Check the vote tally. I don't believe they can vote by proxy.
Senator Sherrod Brown got help from White House to fly back to Washington for stimulus-bill vote
I didn't think of that but with brain cancer and a stroke he probably isn't even mentally capable of making a decision. Not that that would stop them from faking it.
There is one redeeeming thing about Ted. He helped undermine Carter during his re-election bid, and helped to bring in Reagan.
