No. I saw it and dont remember a thing about it. And the box office says I wasnt alone.For fans of the Patrick O'Brian novels, it was a terrific movie. We will see a second, third, fourth, etc Aubrey/Maturin movie. Each movie will also increase sales of O'Brians's books.
The (somewhat similar) Horatio Hornblower movies were quite good and seemed to have a following. IMHO, the books were nowhere near as good as O'Brian's.

It looked really good, but somehow we got sidetracked after the kid got his arm amputated and never finished it--wait, I remember, it was a used DVD and started skipping at that part and we never felt compelled enough to get it buffed so we could finish it.
