It looks like you typed the width and height the same dimensions from your source code, making the posted graphic square instead of narrower than it was tall.
<CENTER><IMG src="http://i26.tinypic.com/17ffhk.gif" width=437 height=437></CENTER>
You can see the code you typed by highlighting the space where your comments and/or graphics go and then right-clicking, choose "view partial source". Some browser versions may not have that option. You do have to highlight the graphic, not JUST right-click. :)

I know - sometimes it just doesn’t do what we ‘tell’ it to.
I posted (and centered) a graphic and recipe last week - and part of the recipe took up the whole width of the page.
It is very hard to tell with the ‘preview’ button - what it will look like when posted.
(You done GOOD, gurl!)

The scent of a flower can gladden the heart of a blind man fair
The jinking flight of a green dragon fly amuse one deaf
The sweet flow of words from another touch one who’s voice is cleft
the gentle hands of another bring joy to one unmoving yet aware
Who has each of us graced this day?

"Who has each of us graced this day?"At this time, with the economy so fragile,
All of us who are without debt,
May find our heartstrings being tugged,
By the opening of our homes
To those we love,
And by sharing - all that God has blessed us with.
I have always been greatful
To have a roof over my head
And food in my tummy.
Now may be the time to start sharing that blessing.

One Passion
If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:26
Nechayev, a 19th-century disciple of Karl Marx who had a role in the assassination of Czar Alexander II, wrote: The revolutionary man . . . has no personal interests, no business affairs, no emotions, no attachments, no property, and no name. Everything in him is wholly absorbed in the single thought and the single passion for revolution. Although his motives and goals were wrong, Nechayevs statement shows the singlemindedness of commitment.
Jesus wanted true commitment from His disciples. In Luke 14, we read that large crowds joined Him as He traveled toward Jerusalem (v.25). Perhaps these casual followers considered themselves to be His true disciples, but Jesus taught that following Him was more than just knowing facts about Him. He explained what it really meant to be His disciple when He defined the cost of discipleship: Nothing, not love for father or mother or even ones own life, was to take precedence over loyalty to Jesus (vv.26-33). His disciples (then and now) must acknowledge that if God is to be primary in their lives, possessions and even social relationships have to be secondary.
Jesus calls His followers to be absorbed in a single, exclusive thought and passionHim.
Set us afire, Lord, stir us we pray!
While the world perishes, we go our way
Purposeless, passionless, day after day;
Set us afire, Lord, stir us we pray! Cushman

The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him
and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too.

We long for an affection altogether ignorant of our faults.
Heaven has accorded this to us in the uncritical canine attachment.

One reason a dog can be such a comfort when you're feeling blue
is that he doesn't try to find out why.
~Author Unknown~
When a dog barks at the moon, then it is religion;
but when he barks at strangers, it is patriotism!
~David Starr Jordan~
Properly trained, a man can be dog's best friend.
~Corey Ford~
The dog is a yes-animal, very popular with people who can't afford to keep a yes-man.

Have a Warm Fuzzy Wednesday!
A man may smile and bid you hail
Yet wish you to the devil;
But when a good dog wags his tail,
You know he's on the level.
