HAILEY (AP) A central Idaho man will be allowed to keep his bobcat at his home at least until August.
Police were called in last week in Hailey when a resident of this tourist town south of Sun Valley reported a big cat had jumped his fence.
Initially, Hailey Police ordered Anthony Pruitt, the cat's owner, to remove it from city limits.

Oh yea, this will end well.
Are you talking about the situation in Idaho with the bobcat, or this thread?
Hah! ... I was thinking the same thing.
...But it is so cute and cuddly, what could possibly go wrong?
Good ol’ Blaine County, the liberal backwater of the state!
Aw come on it’s just a big cat. Mike Tyson had lions and despite being the worst parent in the world he kept them from eating his children.
We’ll see how he likes it when it sends a double-sized hairball across the room.
They only get to be 25 to 30lbs.. The size of a cockerspaniel
They’re relatively small, but they’ll still eat your face off if they feel like it.
Reincarnation? All dogs do go to heaven, I’m pretty sure of it...
Proper name. Robert Feline!
I got a 20 pound cat at home, he dwarfs my two other cats. Good thing for them he is very cat friendly.
Is a bobcat >>that thinks<< it’s a dog the same thing as a mature man thinking he is a female?
The irony here is the one who psychoanalyzed the bobcat and then came up with the conclusion that said bobcat “THINKS IT” is a dog.
I have a Minx that can fetch, but it certainly does not “think it’s a dog” nor do ‘I’ think such.
Our cat, Vincent, thinks he’s a dog. He will retrieve a catnip filled mouse a couple times...
I love to see it when it gets old enough to chase cars!
Come mating season, it will forget all about that dog stuff...
