Vandals destroy books at KU library

Rare books containing old and expensive artwork have been stolen or torn apart, resulting in thousands of dollars of damage at a University of Kansas library, according to campus police.

When I was a kid, I couldn't open a library book containing a picture of a horse that didn't have cartoon genitals drawn in by some budding sociopath.

Kansas is broke. And KU just suffered a huge round of layoffs this month. I would suspect laid off faculty.
