All you need do is produce some quotes for us where Southern leaders are advocating secession, but claiming it will NOT lead to war.
I'm not even claiming there are no such quotes -- only that I've never seen any. That's why I ask.
But in the unlikely event that you cannot produce such quotes, then perhaps you can explain to us how it is that the Southern states seceded, knowing full well it must lead to war, and even started off firing on Fort Sumter, but somehow it's all Abe Lincoln's fault?
I'd say, if you can explain all that, you deserve a lot of credit. ;-)
Official US government policy was always to move Indians onto reservations, never to exterminate them. Of course, many Indians did not want to live on reservations, and even took a certain delight in hatcheting white settlers, but the policy was the policy.
So now you supposedly can produce some quotes from General Sherman, explaining his policy of killing buffaloes. But I would challenge you to produce even one verified historical incident where US forces massacred Indians on their own reservations.
Of course, if you wish to argue that the US policy of forcing Indians onto reservations was morally wrong -- well, that can be argued. But I'd challenge you to produce any evidence showing this policy was at the time considered tantamount to "racial extermination." or "genocide."
Nonsense. A complete history of the Plains Indians would show that many tribes moved onto reservations (indeed the "reservation" was already their home) and did not suffer large population declines.
Other tribes suffered as much, or more, from white-men's diseases as they did from "massacres" or starvation.
Speaking of massacres, I'd challenge you to demonstrate how more Indian women and children died from Sherman's massacres than white women and children died from Indian massacres.

It's easy, when you make stuff up as you go along. The more they argue, the more rabid they become, the wilder the claims that they make.
I’ll vouch for that, One of them even claims that the Union killed millions of civilians in death camps (like the nazis did).
Even claims that a federal park is built on the site that hide the bodies.

also, remind everyone of your BIGGEST, intentional, KNOWING lie about being a "staff-member of the New Orleans Confederate Museum", when you FINALLY admitted after several months that you only VISITED the museum & then ONLY as a SMALL CHILD. instead, the DAMNyankee war criminals had to confine their WAR CRIMES to MURDERING several THOUSAND prisoners of war, whom they DENIED MEDICAL ATTENTION TO,DROWNED, BLUDGEONED, SHOT, BAYONETED, STARVED TO DEATH, ETC. (come to Point Lookout POW Camp & we'll see that you'll get to hold some of the remains of Confederate POWs in your hands. EVERY time there is a hard rain/flood there, more bones/skulls get "exposed" all over the Point Lookout area. the rangers at the park preserve them until they can be prayerfully RE-buried.)

Feel free to prove that I made a statement saying I was a Paid Staff Member of the Confederate Museum any time you want with a link to where exactly you say I said it.
If you can prove it, I won’t just take a vacation like you do ao regularly I will post a thread apologising and asking for a permanent ban from this site.
However if you cannot prove it, like you could not prove I was a Marine Poser, I’m going to be asking that you get another time out for yet another wild accusation you are unwilling to prove against me.
It’s quite simple really your personal attacks against me are going to stop one way or another.

as for me leaving FR for various periods, our family has had several people who have been sick (including me, with the flu for over 3 weeks) or passed away in the last about 18 months.
