I’ve been doing some finishing work on the scrubbing..I am leaving the built in bookcases in the living room for another day...or week or month..LOL I am through with all but the kitchen and the bookcases..and everything else I may have overlooked..

She is so lovely and I love her dress and wristlet flowers.

Thank you both for your comments. She did look lovely. Her biological sister who she just met recently, came and brought her the wrist corsage. Was that sweet or what!

She said that the prom was like a big party and she didn't feel uncomfortable at all without a escort. She danced with many! LOL...

God has been gracious to her. When she came to us at age 6 months,her prognosis was grim.

Now she's college bound!!

Meg, I'm Glad your Pain is Less Today, and Hope you See Lots of Beautiful Flowers on your Planned Outing. I Noticed that the Orange Daylilies Someone Planted Ages Ago on the King's Ranch are Blooming Now, so they are Lovely, along with the Black-Eyed Susans. The Wild Rose Shrubs are Making the Hedgerows Stand Out with Pretty Pink Blooms, and my Neighbor's Mimosa Tree is Filled with Wonderful Blossoms.

That picture is from our trip to DC for the Inauguration in 2005.

I’m hoping we will be able to go to the DC Tea Party in September. She and I can’t go alone but my friend will let me know next week whether she will be able to go with us.
