Very cute....Good Morning to you!

Getting dark outside, thundering! Weather said more severe thunderstorms today. Seems its rained forever! And pouring down now. We opened the pool last week and it has rained every day since. Will probably have to drain some water out, if it stops raining long enough! “Mama said there would be days like this...LOL”.

JC, can’t you just put a garden hose in the pool, and let water syphon out? Just wonderin’!

Now, where’s that coffee? I smell it! It MUST be somewhere.....

Well, you can do that....but, my luck, I would forget it and syphon too much! I do that when the cover is on in the winter. If it stops raining, all I have to do is go up and turn it to backwash or drain and take it off very quickly! Thank goodness! I’m getting too old to care for a pool.....where is everybody when you need them? Know what I mean?

LOL....today is daughter's high school graduation. Have to be a thousand different directions at once! I figured I had better get up early, have my famous Folger's coffee, and hit the fast lane....

Update on dad:-

Dad is making good progress, he is eating like a horse, example his menu yesterday was.

Breakfast
Slice bread and butter with marmalade, slice of buttered fruit loaf and a kiwi fruit.

Lunch
Sausage sandwich, slice of buttered fruit load and small fruit cake

Dinner
Cray fish and avocado
Roast lamb with roast potatoes and parsnips
Tinned peaches
Cheese and crackers

Supper
ice cream cornet with walnut ice cream and chocolate flake
4 chocolates

He is now having physio and can stand and with the aid of his walking frame do about 4 steps albeit not very safe ones. The physio is to build up his muscle so that he can do a few steps safely. We are also aiming to teach him how to transfer from the bed to a wheelchair and a wheelchair to a car so that we can take dad out for a drive.
