I think you describe the struggle between good and evil in Christianity quite aptly and accurately in our era.

That's true enough. Fact of the matter, the individuals and institutions involved here, gladly let their existence be veiled in conspiracy and rumor.

The majority of people have been taught/convinced to either ignore or lash out against any suggestion of these theories having any validity, what so ever.

We can thank these institutions for developing techniques to make the above possible.

So I think I’ll leave the punishment issue re infanticide on an individual, case by case basis, to God.

As do we all, Quix. Just because we see the faults of others does not mean that that we are not at fault as well. It is not Quix or any man that Judges. At the moment of your particular Judgement, how will you fare? And how do you know?

I think you are grossly exaggerating what a few individuals in any organization are capable of. I’ve known Elim people for over 25 years, personally and through the Bible Institute. I have never seen or heard of the things you are saying. Every group of people has its sinners, and as a Catholic you should be very aware of what your church has done to cover up its priestly sins. But are all priests pedophiles and rapists? No. The few give a bad reputation to the rest. You purposely set out to smear Elim and I know you don’t know them as well as I do. You’ll say anything to harm the reformers because you hate us so.

Being a Catholic, I can say that i have seen a clear struggle between good and evil in my church and the evil in the church leap frogged in the 60’s. Pope John wacked it but, as we have seen most recently in this election and at Notre Dame, the internal struggle for the soul of the church is quite active. I can see the dark side winning or dominating at some point with the appointment of the wrong Pope.

I wish you all the best in trying to reform it. The darkness seems to be moving forward at a frightening rate and Christians need all the allies they can get.

BTW, it is incredibly rare to see a RC post anything that indicates there might be a problem within your denomination.

Take a look at many of my recent posts. While we are not a denomination, there are some of us that do recognize when Christianity is troubled.
