The eyes, the smiles, the giggles, the shoulder, the 'gift',
It starts very early,
And, it's all about reinforcement.........

I’m glad she is doing better. Children can pick up ‘vibes’ from those they love - and tend to keep their fears locked up.

~~A RAINY DAY~~
May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

Good morning, Jaycee.
Thank you for honoring our Military Heroes.
Thank our Military and remember those who gave all.
Thank a veteran for your freedoms.
God Bless our Military, past and present.

That is great, Yorkie.
Last Friday evening, there was a young man in uniform waiting to be seated at Applebees. It was a pleasure for me to shake his hand and thank him for his service. He looked so happy as he thanked me and told me it was his pleasure to serve.
Thank you for reminding us to let them know they are appreciated.

At the Bijou of Our Lives
Life is a multi-colored theater of the senses reach
Dynamic in its potential if you dare the breach
A multiplicity of possibilities both small and grand
Oft stretching across a rather bland bit of land
Concrete and grass, wood and brick, stained by life
The stage upon which the play takes place in strife
Where the characters flaunt reality reaching for dreams
And the participating audience shares their own screams
We await the falling of the curtain on the current act
When we can gather and compare our views in fact
From such we take new ideas and budding dreams
Something we can consider, or at least so it seems

Does anybody else here use ‘tiny pic’ to capture their images?
Yesterday, it became Russian (or some foreign language). I just wondered if anyone else had that happen to them? It is still in a foreign language today

Afternoon Amy and all our FRiends.
I ventured out to a few stores today sporting my RED America T-Shirt.
Been takin' it easy in an attempt to ease the back and leg pain I encountered a couple weeks ago doin' yard work.
'prolly haven't eased off enough cuz I'm makin' a bunch of my Stars and Stripes windchime sets for some Gold Star Families up the highway for a special dinner next Friday. Ten family members will be attending the dinner as well as the family of one of the police officers killed in Oakland a few weeks ago. It's a real labor of love and dedication to the fallen in an attempt to honor those who gave their lives for people such as myself.
Signing off for now with the humble words of "Thank You" for those who serve to protect each and every one of us.
Salute!....two

Dont sit under the apple tree http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mg7ymwFsMI0 Hi sunny - I wonder which songs of today kids in the next few generations will remember. Some of these cute little songs (like Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree, Mareys Dotes & Doesy Dotes, etc) have been handed down from generation to generation. :)
Thanks for the YouTube link, and for visiting with us! Hope you come back often.

Isn’t that the cutest, most mischievous, freckle-faced little kid you’ve ever seen! Red hair, curls, freckles - they just go together! I thought the poem fit him so well!

Thought I'd add a photo of the Stars 'n Stripes windchimes I'm making. I would guess it takes about 6-8 hours to make a set but they sure sound beautiful when the wind blows.
I like to think that each sound of the chimes is a reminder that the sound of Liberty and Freedom will forever ring across this Land as long as there are men and women serving in our Armed Forces to preserve that Liberty and Freedom.

Billie, thank you for that adorable little boy.
The poem that you chose fits him perfectly.
Thank you for bringing fun and beauty to Amy's Place.
My pleasure! Heck, it's worth it just to see all the pretty thank you's you hand out! :)
