Just got home from church and checked my email & there was a note from him! Not a long one, no earth-shaking news, just "hi" and a few comments/questions. That's all I need!!
He said he got the care package I sent...took 10 days! But at least he got it.

Well if you’re Arlen Spector, you’ll give your pro-life party, defect to the pro-death party, and think you’re getting political advantage in exchange.
The first thing I thought of after Arlen defected, was how could a man, especially one so elderly and near to meeting his Maker, so blatantly go to the side of darkness to mingle with the pro-death democrats. Yes, he was a dem many years ago, defected to repub for political advantage, and now did the same in reverse, but he obviously doesn’t think about things like his soul or cavorting with The Devil. He sold his soul for political gain, as far as I can tell. The dems stiffed him, but still, Arlen did this all for political power.

Its a shame it took so long but at least it got there safe and sound. Was that the kindle package?

Thanks, yorkie....so happy to find one thats ready. My back is hurting where I planted yesterday....all I have left are some red and white petunias for 2 more pots. Finished the rest yesterday! And my back knows it!
