Thank you, Meg! I worked on that “a while” this morning! LOL! Wish I was a little faster but I’m okay with it. Guess its worth it when you are finished. Hope you have a nice day!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who does that sometimes!

Thank you,jaycee.
I have been so tired this week..I am hoping today is better..Our weather has been delicious..Looks like it is going to be a rainy weekend, though.
I am many times slow, too, jaycee. It all depends on what I am working on.

LOL..I wanted to tell you.
On yesterday’s poem post...Pristina was the primary font..then a comma and Papyrus was the default for those who do not have Pristina. If one has neither then it would show up as the font you see on FR normally.

Sand Through The Glass

Time slows and speeds at its own whim
And history is bright or rendered dim
Memories are recalled or lost in the fog
Our long history becomes a mental bog

Age becomes our journey’s log in pain
And we trudge the worn track of it again
All too familiar and all too weary is the road
And nothing’s changed to our perceived load

The fire of our hot youth has passed and cooled
And now life reminds us how we were fooled
The golden years are mostly a lower grade of brass
And we find our children are heaping full of sass

Our hard earned wisdom no one wants to hear
And so we are silent watching their needless fear
We shake our heads at the wasted effort of it all
And wonder when the Master will make that call

Still we plod on and yet still explore each new day
Happy for the chance to chance the gift of play
For honest laughter is ours even as we grow old
And so we take the day with a feeling somewhat bold

We may not be honored for wisdom so hard earned
And we may have to live with those who coldly spurn
So we shrug and get on with finding the treasure there
And live our lives with a touch of humor amid the cares

Oh, I understand. I was wondering about that. I checked my list of Fonts and I have both of those but some folks may not.
I have a lot to do today as I always do and suppose you do too. I stay busy and don’t accomplish a lot some days.

"Wear Red" Friday
You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.

Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Its more a statement of how a lot of older folks feel today, many of which I meet in my home visits to retirement homes and nursing homes for prayers and communion. So many feel so alone, left in the warehouse of the aged, feeling all to often forgotten. The poem is depressing, but there is a reflection towards the end that once you get passed the hard feelings and silent pain, they often regroup and find among themselves a new spirit, a new view point that lifts them and sustains them. As a minister, I’ve seen this more then a few times and it is a sign of the resiliency and strength of the human soul.

Does it count if your underwear has lots of little red hearts?
