HI Nellie Mae, so very good to see you. I've been on break a little while. Well, I was working on that poem to post. AND it takes me a long time! Do you have a favorite thread that you and the Tennessee gang stay on? I would like to add you to my ping list if you would like! Just let me know if this is okay!

I posted the picture and graphic for all. Got busy with my post and forgot to finish the addressing. Post 1920!

Yes, a mine is dangerous and drives a frog crazy!
All joking aside, my husband was stationed at the U.S. Naval Mine Depot in Yorktown, Va. We lived there for a couple of years during his Navy time. Our first son was born while there, at the nearest hospital, which was the Army Hospital in Fort Eustis, Virginia. We were in Portsmouth, Va. before he was transferred to the Mine Depot.

Thank you my dear friend! I meant to address to all but sometimes I get carried away with one chore and forget another! Guess its because I’m 39, don’t you?

Hey y’all!
I’ve enjoyed all the pings, just haven’t had time/energy to answer! The garden center has been swamped this year but it’s finally slowing down. My own garden is doing great, if it doesn’t drown or freeze. lol High 80’s last week, dry as a bone. Didn’t even reach 60 today, mid 40’s last night, and a gale blowing out of the north with all night/day pouring rain. Most of the cole season stuff is done, or close, and the warm season stuff is kicking in.
My oldest son got married this past weekend and gbaby #2 is due any day. Never a dull moment!
Our baby chicks are doing great, they’re 2 months old now. I added a dozen mallard babies and 5 guineas to our flock. Gbaby loves helping in the garden and feeding up. We were out in our boots wading in mud puddles this evening. Didn’t stay long. Brrr
I can’t wait to teach him how to catch tadpoles! :) Judging from the deafening chorus during the weekend, we won’t have any shortage of tadpoles!
Y’all have a great day/week! I’ll be in and out more, hopefully more IN!

Hi GG! I know you've got to be worn out, you are busier than a bee! Congrats to your son and his bride! You sure have a lot of excitement in your life! Nice hearing from you again! Be sure and smell the roses! (or coffee)LOL!

Garden Girl, we have missed you.
(But, we knew you would be busy as a bee!)
Blessings to your son and his new wife, and their new life together!
And a new grandbaby? How wonderful!
Hope to hear some great tales about all your feathered friends!
So, come back as soon as you can!
To: ConorMacNessa
Thank you for respecting and remembering all our Military Heroes, Conor, and also for the Soldier’s Code with President Eisenhower.

Conor, thank you so much for your loving tribute to Army Ranger Cpl. Ryan McGhee. May God hold him tight, in His Loving Arms, and bestow comfort upon his family, loved ones and friends.

Yorkie, when I read the words “electron micrographs” I had to figure that one out.....LOL! First time I had heard those words.

A good Military Monday to you, too, Conor! Thank you so much for posting the Soldier’s Code so beautifully! Hope it was a good day for you!
To: yorkie
Thank you for the kind words, Yorkie. I've had a problem with my lower back the last few days but it seems to be moderating. I'm on pain killers and muscle relaxants which seem to be doing the job. Hope all is well with you!

It was so good to spend a day with each of you.
Your graphics, poetry, stories, thoughts and prayers were so welcoming!
Just in case any of you 'right coasters' will be turning in soon,
Sweet Dreams~!

I just wanted to say thank you to all that helped Yorkie and me carry on and fumble through, taking care of Amy's Place while "our Amy" had things to do! I hope she enjoyed her day off and that you had a little fun with us. We had a lot of fun with you all as we always do!
Have A Wonderful Night!
