Hey y’all!
I’ve enjoyed all the pings, just haven’t had time/energy to answer! The garden center has been swamped this year but it’s finally slowing down. My own garden is doing great, if it doesn’t drown or freeze. lol High 80’s last week, dry as a bone. Didn’t even reach 60 today, mid 40’s last night, and a gale blowing out of the north with all night/day pouring rain. Most of the cole season stuff is done, or close, and the warm season stuff is kicking in.
My oldest son got married this past weekend and gbaby #2 is due any day. Never a dull moment!
Our baby chicks are doing great, they’re 2 months old now. I added a dozen mallard babies and 5 guineas to our flock. Gbaby loves helping in the garden and feeding up. We were out in our boots wading in mud puddles this evening. Didn’t stay long. Brrr
I can’t wait to teach him how to catch tadpoles! :) Judging from the deafening chorus during the weekend, we won’t have any shortage of tadpoles!
Y’all have a great day/week! I’ll be in and out more, hopefully more IN!
Hey! It’s gardengirl - we haven’t seen you in such a long time! Good to hear from you, but after reading your post, I can see why you haven’t had much time to answer any pings! Visit when you can, and hope you’ll be cuddling new grandbaby any day now!
Congratulations on your Son's wedding and a new Grandbaby due soon too!! Wishing you all the best!
I'd love to have Mallards or chicks around. If you ever get pictures, please post them. Where I use to live each year a pair of Mallards would come in the spring. I loved seeing those birds.
