I have no idea where it came from - I ran across it some time ago and thought it was one of the most beautiful horse pics I’d ever seen. Everything about it was awesome, and I couldn’t wait to do something with it, and when I found the poem, that “completed” it!

Is it a hawk? Don’t know what kind!
it almost looked like a small owl.

On the horse theme:
Job 39:19-20
“Hast thou given the horse strength? Hast thou clothed his neck in thunder? Canst thou make him afraid of a grasshopper?”
This shows the wonderful creature the horse is, so powerful, yet also so much a prey animal that he instinctually can be afraid of the smallest harmless things. Only God could have created this marvelous creature. My favorite animal, the horse.

Maybe it’s a juvenile redtail. Come to think of it, there is a hawk with a biggish head that people mistake for owls. Of course I can’t think of the name.

I saw one similar in my yard a few years ago. He got him a bird and flew away with feathers flying all over the place. I was upset and my husband explained it all to me....I still was upset! He was too, a little, if you know what I mean?

I know what you mean. My feeders sometimes seem like a drive-thru MacDonalds for the the big birds.

Great poem, graphic (#1221). Thanks. Beautiful, strong animals. I was groom at race tracks for a couple of summers during my college days.

Good evening, Billie. Thank you.
Hope your day was warm and fuzzy.
I decided you didn't need another horse graphic so I kept this one. :)

The horse looks like an Arabian; they have beautiful flowing lines.
There are several “white breeds” (not sure if it's called that) that I know of. One is the famous Lippizaners of Spain & Austria. Another are the Camargue from South of France and the third are the camarillos of Southern California; you always see them in the Rose Parade.
All breeds I think will produce whites. Above may be color controlled breeding for all I know. Arabians have a share in the Lippizaners and Camarillos but the other breeds mixed in are too stocky to the ones we're looking at.
(Not sure about all the spelling)
