but hanging blinds/curtains are the one house project that always leads to arguments with my wife and me.
My husband and I fuss when he hangs window treatments, too. Maybe it is a reaction of your testosterone protection mechanism. Really, what is there to argue about? We should all AGREE that the man doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing.

mushy manhands without calluses make me very suspect I was thinking about this post. I am sure Ronnie, George and Barry spent most of their lives in soft hands/shiny pants jobs.
Yet the photos of RWR and GWB working on their ranches are not out of reality. A similar one of Barry would look so staged.
So what's the difference? Character,

I always loved the photos of Bush, but we all know he bought the "ranch" for these photo ops. I mean...it's not like he wasn't afraid of horses. Definitely no Reagan. haha
However, at this point, I'm not so sure that Obama isn't afraid of his own dog!

Obama NEEDS an apron!
How many bed wetting, EBR fearing, community organizing socialists does it take to hang a curtain, or whatever in the hell that thing is?! :-)

You just described the same yucky feeling that I have experienced, even though I am careful to wear gloves whille working in my garden and such, sometimes I run across a man with softer feeling hands to me. Maybe it is because my reference point is my brickmason husband’s hands.

- Notice Obama is way too low on the ladder to safely and properly slip the curtain rod into the brackets
- He also needed a helper to make sure he did not fall!
- What a wimp!

There is an EXIT sign, perhaps he was decorating an ACORN office, lol.
It's not unmanly to help hang drapes as it can be a hard job, but he is hanging a small valance. We've never seen him at a ‘hard job’.
