They argue that life can only appear one way: The world has been fascinated with the existence of little green (or gray) men ever since the idea of extraterrestrial life first caught the eyes and ears of the public. Fed by more or less real events, such as UFO sightings, abductions, and inexplicable phenomena such as crop circles, people's fantasies of aliens have grown over the years, and more so after Hollywood started depicting them in movies. Now, a group of researchers comes to argue that humans and possible aliens may share the same genetic architecture, on account of the fact that the building blocks of life are the same in all of the Universe...
Oh, this is begging a Star Trek post and lesson. Didn’t the rock creature have silicon based architecture?
How about a certain illegal alien in the White House?
Gata have an alien DNA sample before jumping to any conclusion.
Otherwise, I'll play ;)
... a 'researcher' can be anybody, absolutely *anybody* at all with some far fetched opinion or tin-foil hat theory. I could be considered a 'researcher' by all accounts, since I 'observe and note' phenomena occurring in my daily life's observations. I can also be a 'consultant' if my expertise is asked of someone else ... whether I have a correct answer or not is moot ... I have been asked a question, I have been consulted, therefore I am a Consultant.
Cheers,
MM (Researcher and Consultant Extraordinaire)
Well, Superman is a Kryptonian, and there are obvious similarities between him and earthlings.
That is one odd image. What does a cross with fleur-de-lis have to do with James Carville devolving into a tadpole? Is it some strange Cajun humor?
Barack Nobama has declared that his administration will be guided by science rather than faith. If scientists were to find as much as a mold spore on another planet, they would go ga-ga over the finding of life there. If they were to find a fetus there, however, they would find themselves in a bind. These same scientists will tell you that a fetus on planet earth does not constitute life, yet every 18-year old college kid who ever carried a condom in his wallet knows when life begins.
Ah, Yes...Life on other planets. The so-called Scientists can’t tell you what life actually is here on Earth.
And I bill for it. :) Good work if you can get it.

Fraid not, I’ve been tested and it appears that I’m my own grampa.
Gotta love how it sprayed hydrofluoric acid, too.
Cheers!
...oh, and Happy Good Friday.
I have a friend who married a girl and his brother married the girl’s mother.
My mother has webbed toes on feet - must mean she is an
alien!
Don’t know what life is, don’t know what electricity is, don’t know enough about a lot, but they know what causes global warming? Ha!
Well, while I believe there is a strong possibility that there is life on worlds other than earth, this has yet to be proved and I find it hard to even speculate as to “similar” DNA structures on creatures that may or may not exist, let alone creatures that may have life based on something other than carbon.
