Is that just me or did I get the story wrong? How many war ships do you need and FBI terrorist experts do you need to take over a dead in the water dinghy, 2 pirates and a hostage? OK I realize that the pirates could shoot the hostage.
Ar we going to send salves or shoot the dinghy with a canon? Sorry..I have a hard time not to laugh with that image but seriously...Or send the whole army, planes etc.. to fly around that dinghy? Or negotiate with these morons, knowing that they have no word anyway?
What about sending 2 good divers under the dinghy, pick the butt of the pirates, turn over the dinghy and get the hostage? I sailed for 12 years in dangerous waters...the whole story, I mean since they are in the dinghy, makes me really scratch my head.
Any other suggestions which could help our guys solve that problem? I am a bit lost here.
Again, I am certainly missing something important like - does that incident involves Russia or Iran or nukes or something?

That was my first thought.
Everybody was told to stand down until Hillary and the FBI shows up, they don’t want a solution to the problem before they can make it worse.
When this happened before, good old Gerald Ford sent in the Marines and a handful ended the situation quickly and those pirates never took another hostage in their very brief lives.
I was wondering the same thing. I thought a good “negotiation” tool would be to assassinate the pirates and kill his crew. Of course, this regime is worse than Carter’s, so who knows what the Messiah will do next.
Yup. You’ve got to have the go-ahead take action, and with Hillary laughing about the whole pirate thing I don’t see our Secretary of State working hard to push a fast response.

They may be appreciating a degree of diplomacy.
It's difficult to take full advantage of a crisis if you aren't there. A careless mis-step by the FBI or the navy could end up wasting this crisis very quickly.
I was wondering how the FBI plays into this myself. Isn’t that the CIA’s territory? Or Interpol or someone like that?
