Scottish Eggs
Divide one pound of pork sausage around five hard boiled (peeled) eggs
Place on rack over cookie sheet
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes
Cut each 'ball' in half
Place each half over 1/2 biscuit.
Cover with sausage gravy, sprinkle with parsley and paprika and serve.
This is the first thing my children and grandchildren request, when they visit Grammy.
I use a pound of pork sausage to make the gravy on the range-top, while the eggs wrapped with sausage, and biscuits are baking in the oven.
Oh yum..This granny would love it, too!
Sounds absolutely delicious, yorkie! Anything to do with food sounds good to me seems like...LOL!
Very interesting! I would have NEVER thought of that! LOL!
Can we come for breakfast next time your kids/grandkids are there? Sausage gravy, and biscuits, with those Scottish Eggs - my husband would ask for surely ask for a doggie bag to bring some home. :)
