These are two of my sweet little girls!
The little blonde granddaughter
is graduating this Friday from
King College. She will be an
Elementary School teacher. You
all recognize Addyson. This was
at Myrtle Beach last August! I will
post one of my other granddaugther
as soon as I find it and she will also
graduate from East Tennesse State
University next Friday. You can see I
have a full schedule.
To: yorkie
I love that vintage photo, they are so beautiful!
To: jaycee
Beautiful granddaughters, Jaycee.
Congrats to the two graduates.

She was wonderful, Sundog! What a voice coming out of that little girl!
To: Sundog
She is wonderful; such a great voice from such a little girl.
Thanks for the link, Sundog.

I think I posted the same thing that you did. Honest, I posted before reading your post.

There are very few things just too cute to pass up in life. L’il Holly hit a home run right there, who’d a thought.

You must be able to tell by now that inspirational poems make up a lot of my favorites.
Some of them are like prayers.

I thought I saw a ripple in the sky before I came crashing down a ripple of hope, breath of a dream I've got clouds in my mind while tasting the ground It would seem I have failed in this flight that I've taken Defeat in the dirt brings questions unkind In spreading my wings have I been mistaken? Persistence is born of true hearts endeavour Effort renewed by need and desire This time I think I'll try to fly higher If I must I'll keep trying all the days of forever

I’ve done that before, Amy. Sometimes there is only one way to describe something. She was a great little singer for only 10 years old!
To: Lady Jag
Thank you, L. J. Yes, of course, I think they are the prettiest. My other granddaughter has olive skin and dark hair, isn’t that strange? Its really not strange because she got it from my husband and sons. I’m just waiting to post a good one of her. But I will.
Won’t those 3rd graders love her for a teacher? I think she will be qualified for 1st through 6th grade but her student teaching was the 3rd grade. The other granddaughter studied Radiology and they will have a Medical Pinning Ceremony also and then two days later, graduation! So, I have 3 events to attend. I will go with my son and his wife.

So sweet, poem and little bird. They are pitiful learning to fly, aren’t they? Doesn’t take long though!
To: jaycee
Goodness, you have good reason to be proud!

REally great Mon.opener! Thanks, Majie! Glad you liked the little girls running through the field of flowers.

Thank you for the precious little girl and song, Billie. Thank you, Meg - your cherub fountain and pink rose bush and climbers are so pretty.

Choices Made
The dawn rose, with silent grace
but no light fell on the prisoners face
Locked away there in that dreary hole
awaiting eternitys long running toll
Black stone walls, and iron bars cold
a chill and lonely place to grow old
A single moment rash, and foolish bent
and a future wasted, a chance is spent
One was lost, and now another waits
both to suffer, victims of their fates
The bitter truth, no one won or will
and how steep the cost of the bill
A small room to age, in paying the toll
a shuttered place, for a sad and brutal soul
A wasted life, filled with hard strife and woe
watching time tick away, so very, very slow

Lovely, Billie! What a beautiful way to start the day! Hi, Lori - thank you - I'm glad you liked the opening. Hope you're having a great day!

Oh, how pretty the Chicago Peace Rose is! It’s pinker than the Peace Roses I usually think of.
