Bad Penny has been around Amy's Place for a LONG time, but doesn't show himself often on the thread (just like a certain wolfie that we all know and love) and, Bad Penny, generally lives up to his name. Therefore, no chocolate bunny for him!

Hello, Hello everyone. Brought my laptop to hospital to visit with friend & family for a good part of day(finally got all the security software loaded & operational... I had the silly thing 6 months before doing so.
Have some time to kill & so thought I would start to catch up on all
Trip to NC will wait til next week-end..regrettably. .Grandkids conflict..other grandma wants them for dinner. Never mind “other grandma” sees them almost every day & I haven’t seen them for over 4 years.. sigh. The downside of broken families..
Loving all your great contributions.cool & sunny here. Want to get dogs out for run before dark & one last stop at store before getting home
One good thing about not traveling is will be at my own church this week.. which is nice. My home church is NC is full of great friends & has a remarkable music program. I had thought that Easter would be a good time to visit.
For mom have a basket of lg solid chocolate Malley’s bunny, stuffed bunny; Billy Graham book (Holy Spirit) and a bottle of body spray.(ginger scent..nice)
a few rag tag flowers survived our 5” of snow a few days ago..the forsythia are pushing out & a smattering of bulbs.

Before you run off, Lori, where exactly is your Tea Party being held? I have been hearing of different ones on t.v. and I hear you all may be expecting thousands....I sure hope so! If you get a chance, yell that back to me!
Gosh, I haven’t been on FB for a long time. Went to two lunches this week, plus one day for errands and hair and I am absolutely worn out. Getting ready to make a cake from Meg’s recipe Apple Blossom Cake as soon as I get myself straightened up! Some day I need to do housework and yard work!

Daughter in law’s family VERY dysfunctional.. 2 of her 3 sibs are in prison.. one for drug trafficking(bro) & the other for arson with bodily injury (sister!). Their mom earns VERY big bucks & gives very BIG gifts to kids all the time.. but does nothing with them.. she sits & watches TV , smoking all the time she is home.
By big gifts... ATVs; huge expensive Thomasville bedroom sets; 1000 gift certificatesat Toys R us; any/all electonics they want.
The house with about 5 living in it is huge with a large pool, but very smoky.. all smoke(we are talking NC).. and for me it is a killer..I feel so sorry for all the grandkids that are there.
Unfortunately all the kids have the “love = expensive gifts” mentality from both grandma & mom..This was always one of the biggest problems in my son’s marriage.He wanted to support the family on his own & not always take big handouts.
Other grandma earns $$ thru gambling.. Bingo parlors etc. People come & spend all theihr SS & welfare checks.. That too is a sorry environment & you cannot see in any of the businesses due to the thick smoke. She has had both the IRS & state come donw on illegal activities but has always bought her way out of situation
Kids spend a lot of time there also if DIL has date & my son is working & cant watch kids..
She bought all of her children a house. Jeff refused & this is why DIL ended things.. They had a very nice home.. better than I had after 15 years of marriage, that my son was paying on mortgage...but other grandma ;thought they should have a 400,000 house rathern than 150K
so very sad..
