God’s commandments are clear. Those who don’t follow the commandments are sinning.
“Thou shalt not kill.” -from The Bible: Deuteronomy 5:17
“Thou shalt not commit murder.” is the best translation.
It would appear to be ok to kill - for instance in self defense or in a just war.
Otherwise we would be cooperating with sin every time we cheered our troops.
