A woman in Northern Ireland says her home has been over-run by grey squirrels.

Oonagh Nutt, from Moira in County Down, says the animals first came into her garden from an adjoining park six years ago, but in the last 18 months they got too close for comfort.

Get a couple of hunting bred type dogs and all the squirrels will vanish. I live in a wooded area and my red-bone coon hound loves to chase any squirrels she sees, great exercise for her and wonderful to watch. The squirrels run away at the first sight of her.

Send Huckabee over there with the two boys. The excess squirrel population will be consumed in no time.

She needs catz.

She needs ferrets.
Cats can't always go where a squirrel goes, ferrets can.

I’ve heard squirrels chirp, but I’ve never heard them growl.

We’ve got one in our back yard, and some idiot in the neighborhood has been putting out peanuts for the squirrels.

So, when our dog, an otherwise mild-mannered Golden Retriever, is out in the back yard, this evil squirrel throws the empty peanut shells down at him. When they hit him, he takes off barking incessantly at the evil squirrel, who them teasingly jumps from tree to tree.

I’m seriously considering hiring my neighbor, who shoots the squirrels in his trees with a .22. Problem is, his yard is fenced with privacy fencing, but mine has chain link. It would be too easy for him to be spotted during an assassination attempt at our place.

One of my Labs actually caught a live squirrel.

It was a knock-down drag out and the squirrel bit her a couple times on the nose. Lots of blood and she had to get antibiotics (squirrels ARE filthy). But Mr. Squirrel's feeling of satisfaction was short-lived (as was he).

Dog took a victory lap and then was hauled to the vet.

True, but when the ferrets start breeding, she'll need terriers!

“too easy for him to be spotted during an assassination attempt....”
-——is there a grassy knoll nearby?
Or a large enclosed storage building?
