They’ve never done an elimination like that, have they?

I don't think they have. The closest I can remember was Michael Johns last year. It was at the end of their three-day begathon week and Seacrest acted like they were going to be charitable (wink) and spare Johns. But Seacrest said no, he was eliminated. It was both cold-blooded and funny :)

Not funny! I love Michael Johns! That was the most heartless thing I ever saw on AI. “We saved someone last year during the begathon week...(lifts MJ’s hopes)..but we’re not going to do it this year.” (knife to the heart) The final four last year should have been Johns, Carly, Cook and Archie...

I can't understand why Obama wants to do this.

Usually I can see how liberals see things, even if I don't agree with it. But this makes absolutely no sense to me. Does he think the "world" will like him more if he pursues this? It's insane.
