I think I am the one person in America who doesn’t watch 24.

Our household doesn't watch it either and when I read that Kal Penn (House's Kutner) said:

[in New York Magazine, commenting about his recurring role as a terrorist on TV's "24" (2001)] I have a huge political problem with the role. It was essentially accepting a form of racial profiling. I think it's repulsive. But it was the first time I had a chance to blow stuff up and take a family hostage. As an actor, why shouldn't I have that opportunity? Because I'm brown and I should be scared about the connection between media images and people's thought processes?

I was glad to see him leave House. I guess they will have to find another terrorist for 24, too.

I completely agree with you both regarding Adam. Too professional for what is supposed to be a semi-amateurish competition.

I think the point of the show is to find the next "IDOL" not the best singer. So this means so many aspects come into play which is why a Clarkson and Underwood would have stomped all over a semi-pro like Adam. Remember, people like me, actually think Adam is just another singer who can wail, but that doesn't mean he has any more "IDOL" talent as a pro than an Allison has as an Amateur.
