Not too bad, but I miss the days when I couldn’t wait to hear a contestant’s song for the night! (Kelly, Carrie, Daughtry,David).
The audience is loving the upbeat songs tonight!
Yeah, but Kris seemed the most endeared to everyone. A bit like the consummate big brother/encourager. Danny seems very up and friendly. Scott seemed most humbled/appreciative/soaking everything in - the exact opposite of how Lil (and, to a lesser extent, Adam and Allison) came across. Lil just totally seems to think she’s won and it’s just a matter of hearing it from Ryan. LOL. That made me sad b/c I sort of went to the taping last year thinking Sayesha came across similarly (though not quite as much, but just a bit entitled along with standoffish) and Sayesha changed my opinion about her entirely seeing her in person. Lil just furthered my opinions of her seeing her in person. It’s far more fun to find likeable things about them all, or to realize some things about personalities just don’t come across well on TV...but...yeah. :-)

That’s the sort of stuff my parents listened to when I was little, too. Willy Nelson and Waylon Jennings, too. My mom was raised in CA during the whole surf era (Denny Wilson tried to pick up her and her cousin once) and I know all that 60’s surf music, too. Interesting combo!

Chatting with Seacrest before his performance, Anoop "clarifies his comments" from last week, you know when he acted like an arrogant a$$hole on national TV.

His song (fittingly) is "True Colors". It's okay, but this song has a bad history on Idol.
Randy: You pulled it back. I'm always impressed. You can actually sing. THat was a very nice vocal. I liked that.
Kara: You controlled the song, you didn't let it control you. You didn't try to be something that you're not.
Paula: You're choice of song is flawless. You really showed your true colors.
Simon: You're like a singing yo-yo. Last week was abysmal. This week was very good. I don't think it was fantastic. You don't have to apologize for reacting to what we say. It's two-way. You can be horrible to us, if you think we've been horrible to you.
Not me....especially if that song was on it....I do not like that song. I never liked that song. Not in a car, not in a boat, not on a plane and not from a noop!
Anoop was lame. That’s all you can say about it. LAME...
If Allison & Adam are boring I’m going to quit for the season.

actually you’re right, this season is BORING. Adam is the only one I can see right now doing well after Idol, and maybe allison? who knows...
