Once again for me, tonight it was Adam – and it was really cool to see him change into a sort of Elvis-Dean kind of thing. He really has presence and he took a great song and did well by it. Definitely I want to see Adam move into the next round, he’s becoming my favorite for this season.

Last season, I had my hopes that others would kick with the talents of Jason Castro, and how many times have I asked, “Has Jason Castro released an album yet?” – I guess, even though he did well, you need to be number 1 or 2 in the AI finals to release a cd?

The way I figure it, Adam is as talented as Jason, and I really hope he can kick in with a cd release for his fans like me.

Other of note, Anoop did a fantastic delivery as well. Again, I disagree with the judging on Lil Round, I thought she was really together as well and I enjoyed her dress, hair-do, movements and song, it was classic Detroit. Hope she gets to the next round as well. And Danny! Wow!

Adam is the best.

Yes she did (Lil Round, "Obama") - but you didn't get what she was "saying" .... She was "waving him out of the way", e.g. when the comment "you could be President", she was waving him out of the way to step aside i.e. "Obama (move over, here I come)" - that was what she was saying in word and body language.

So no, she wasn't cheering Obama, she was responding to the comment about her running for Prez.

Doing some AI catch-up reading...I have to answer this one! They did a piece on the news in Milwaukee with Danny's eye doctor (he's the same one our family goes to)

He said Danny's always had a thing for cool glasses - and as of now he has about 18 different pairs!

Odd they rushed through Danny’s comments - I thought so sitting there and they had plenty of time left. It was very odd. And audience loved him and was way into that performance and disagreed with Simon. Yes, most thought it wasn’t his best, but everyone really liked it.

My favorites of the night (by order of appearance):

Matt G. Except for the near-fatal choice of singing Coldplay, Matt has been very impressive.

Kris. Showing himself to be a consistant good performer. Still amazed how he came out of nowhere (virtually no promotion leading into the Top 36) to get enough votes to win a spot.

Adam. Toned it down after last week’s criticism. Definitely a great performer, I can’t take that away from him.

Allison. Has shown herself to be the best female performer and is showing separation from the over-hyped Lil.

Just OK:

Lil. Randy (for a change) was spot-on in his critique.

Danny. Starting to notice a sameness in his vocals, as good as they are. Performance was a little corny. Still hoping to see him in the finals.

Meh:

Scott. He should start seeing Bottom 3 pretty soon.

Megan. Again, why is she there when more talented performers (e.g., Felicia Barton, Kristen McNamara) were sent home? Should see Bottom 3 this week.

Anoop. I wasn’t impressed. Weak “baby babies”

Michael. I can see him being voted off this week.

I love my girl. She's beautiful and quirky at the same time. She's got a unique voice that I believe can take her places, but I got to keep it real:

That performance was an, "I wanna go home real bad" suckage of enormous proportions!
