Smokey: He's a great interpreter of songs.
Danny's choice is "Get Ready"
YEAH! His voice is perfect for this song. Good performance too. Nothing pretentious about it either (unlike Adam and Lil's efforts)
This is great!
Judges' comments are rushed for time.
Paula: You are undeniable, always reliable. First class performance every week.
Simon: I thought that was clumsy and amateurish.
Randy: You remind me of the great Levi Stubbs. Loved the energy and the feeling of it.

Paula: Completely in your own league. I love the clean look. No nail polish.LOL! I just knew the AI powers-that-be would get Lambert to clean up his act after Billboard's review last week.
I've said it from the very first. Adam has a great voice and is hugely talented. Talent-wise, he's miles better than anyone else in this year's competition. But his queen persona is such a huge turn-off for at least half (if not more) of the AI audience. The AI makeover people have to get him to clean up somewhat if he's going to have any shot at being marketable post-Idol.

Smokey Robinson is such a cool dude. He did the best version of the National Anthem I’ve ever heard during the 1975 World Series at Fenway Park in Boston. He transitioned to America The Beautiful and brought the house down.

American Idol people are too smart by half. They need to protect their brand and if they associate with Adam they are going to regret it. Both for the vids that will come out of the woodwork.
And sooner or later he will do some trashy gay stuff on tour or after hours.
Not good for people with tweens to think of this show.
Playing with drag queen fire is what they are doing. It will burn them.
