I wouldn’t put Adam in the ‘professional’ category of those you listed. Before Idol he was virtually unknown except for whatever clubs and theatre he’s performed in. I just believe he has an amazing voice.

Required ( well, almost..) reading in advance of tonight's show:<> NY POST critic Linda Stasi tears into Adam big time, opining
here why he doesn't deserve to win
And, for those who have found the blooming "friendship" between Adam and Kris, curious, if not a tad disconcerting, comes incontrovertible proof that they have indeed taken things to the next level...they get manicures together As the headline says, the "bromance" now includes "mani-peds" UGH!!!

I loved reading the comments to the Post review. Somehow the commentors believe that Adam singing glam/stadium throwback stuff is “new” and if you don’t like him, you’re old. LOL! I think Kris has the type of sound being played on the radio right now and has a younger fan base which gives him a good chance at winning. I read about the nail polish thing earlier, no big deal. Sounds like the kind of thing that would happen with any girl/guy friend roommates.
