“She sat quietly for a couple of minutes and then she looked up at her Papa and said, “I really really like cherries, but Papa, if you want it you can have it.” I think we all cried. Of course he didn’t take her cherry “
From the mouth of a child, a lesson so perfect it will never be forgot. What a delight she must be!

( Poetry is the jazz of words, laid down by a feeling soul.)

A Moment
Willows hang over the stillness of the water below
and not a ripple marks the pond below you know
Time, for a moment, frozen into stillness sublime
that captures this instant like a snapshot of time
A soft trill of birdsong lifts in the day so faint
in this moment so pure nothing of it can be taint
Our tired old soul lifts with the song and flies
and only then does the wind so softly decide to sigh

Good afternoon/evening, LadyJ.
Happy Tuesday.
Thank you for the poem. I really liked the first four lines!
The rest was as good as those first four lines.
This poem by William Blake is wonderful.
Did you get a chance to work in the garden today?
We have had beautiful weather but we have had frost the past two nights.
I don't think the weatherperson is cooperating with the calendar. :)
Have a great evening.
To: MEG33

Thanks, Fewz. That is perfect.
Hope you are enjoying spring-like weather.
Have a great Tuesday Evening.
To: WVNan
Good evening, Nan.
She is a darling child. I’m sure mine wouldn’t be that sweet. She would stick here lower lip out and say “welll, okay”
Wish you and Mr Nan could come to California this year.
