Snugs, I have been keeping up with your dad’s progress through the posts, and following up with prayer for him (and you.)

I love that smile on his face! He looks content - and ready to dig in to a wonderful meal that his daughter so lovingly prepared for him.

I know it is hard for you both, but I have seen much progress, in the last couple weeks.

My daughter lost a friend last week (a lady in her early 40’s with four children, to pneumonia.)

My daughter said it made her realize the fragility of life - as she thought of her mother. She said she hoped to smell oranges, cookies and apple pie (from her mom) for ever. And, she reminded me of how sweet the memories are that her children (my grandaughters) have, of being in the kitchen with Grandma.

I had to post that.

Oh, yorkie..How sad ..The sickest I have been as an adult has been with double pneumonia and ear infection 20 years ago..No need to prescribe bedrest with the antibiotics..I was flattened...
It’s so nice to know you have created such fond memories for you daughter and grandchildren.

Very sweet, yorkie! Our children can make us so happy with a sweet compliment. I wonder if they realize how happy they can make us!

Very sad about her friend dying of pneumonia...that is so terrible, how hurt her 4 kids must be.
