Signs of Spring in the central valley! I just now caught this little beauty flitting around my lilac bush, along with several of his buddies. It was hard to get a good shot because they don't pose well. As soon as I'd get focused, they'd fly off to a more succulent flower.

Thanks, Mama
I’ll have to see what I dream/what I wake up with in the morning! LOL
I can almost smell the lilacs! I love them so, and they just won’t take our heat.

How utterly beautiful! You are good with a camera. I sat out on the patio last year so quietly with camera ready so I wouldn’t have to move much, to try to get a good picture of a hummingbird. Got a couple pictures and they were a little blurry....sometimes the bird moved and I guess sometimes I moved. LOL~~~

My boss is great. He and the other girl that I work with are some of my best friends. :)

I can almost smell the lilacs!Yes, isn't it wonderful! There is no fragrance quite like the lilac. They remind me of my grandmother.

I lived in Ohio until I was about 11 and lilacs were as much a part of my growing up as lightning bugs. :)
And Grandma, too!

Thank you. It just takes a lot of patience and I am embarrassed to admit that I found my self cussing out an innocent little butterfly because he wouldn't stay still. Not really bad words, of course, LOL......but, still I felt quite childish and bad about getting so caught up in capturing the image.
Here is one of my jays sitting at the very top of the pear tree, overlooking his domain. No problem capturing their image. They love to pose.

Thank you, MEG.
The lilacs we grow here in the CA central valley are called Persian Lilac. They aren't quite like the ones back east, but they withstand the dry hot summers. I just wish they would bloom longer. In a couple weeks, the lilac show will be over for another year.

I would call that one a ‘perfect picture’. They know they are beautiful I believe!

They know they are beautiful I believe! Well, my jays sure think quite highly of themselves. LOL. Once you tame them a bit you find that they really do have personalities. Of course, once you give anything a name it seems to develop a personality to go with it.
Time to quit playing and go fix dinner. You have a nice evening. TTYL!

Ice. Ha! I've been using it on my thumb, why not the nose!
And benzocaine for overnight. All I really need is a good rest.
Don't have any new meds, can't be that.

Do you think a little bit of Vicks on the outside of your nose might calm that itching. The reason I thought of that is one time I was itching all over after I came home from a surgery. The doctor sent a prescription for a cream mixture and it had menthol in it. It was so cooling and stopped the itching. I still have some of it and if I am ever itching, I use it, and it calms the itching down.
